Hello good people. To begin, let me commend us for keeping this tread alive. I know it can be really tough for us to keep hope alive when our fellow applicants in other VOs have started receiving updates. However, I want to encourage us to remain hopeful and calm. Our days of PPR is closed than the day we first applied.

My wife recently gave birth and I have contacted the AVO about it. I have been briefed on what I will be neededto get my child included in my application, but my challenge has been to open a domiciliary account with Gtbank so that I could raise a check that is payable in Canadian dollars

Please, I will appreciate your advice on how i could open the accout asap.

My people, I presume you have heard that the deadly Ebola virus ''is in town''!! The Liberian who brought it in is DEAD! According to news reports, he was rushed to First Consultant's Practice, Obalende when he started showing symptoms. The Lagos state government has assured Lagosians that there is no cause for alarm. According to them, they are doing everything in their power to contain the disease. However, this does not mean that we shouldn't help ourselves. Let us all try as much as possible to take precautionary measures especially with personal hygiene. Frequent hand washing is important. Have a personal hand sanitizer with you and use it regularly. Avoid eating meat of unknown origin. Wash fruits very well before eating. Generally, avoid contact with other people's body fluids.

Prevention is much better than cure. God help us all.

Hope this will not have any effect on our Applications. Or is this the reason why applicant form this part of the world (AFICA) is no getting the required Speed?
