Hi Seglad, thank you for your response. 2007 applications being processed???? I am under the impression that it is the new rules they are processing at the moment. Are there any body inthe forum who submitted application before february 2008 and is currently processing his own. I mailed Accra August last year they responded that my application is on the waiting and there is no schedule to process it. They also ask me to check the current schedule on the cic website which is about 86months. Is there away we can network with those 2007 guys so we know when they submit and how the processing goes for them.seglad said:At accra, i met 5 PNP applicants of 2007 who received their visas. Email accra for status update.

Is like i dont get you well.Did you apply for provincial Nominee Program or federal skilled worker? FSW processing time for 2007 applicants is 86months but if it is PNP nominee/family sponsorship, then the processing takes 12 months depending on your response to CHC requests . Those guys i met were PNP Nominee applicants, some submitted in 2008 and some in 2009 and they have gotten their visas. IG has invited them to be part of this forum and promised to join us on the 26th feb. for the meetings

Congrats. Good to hear this. You are welcome to Brampton just like Seglad. Men! i'm beginning to see the Brampton list growing, i like it. Wishing all on queue the best.
I also landed a good permanent job in my first official interview on the first day of the month in my field as Administrative Coordinator in a big health care company and resuming on the first Monday of this month. The grass is becoming greener on this side.(Thank God for using Explorer 101 for the preparation for the interview)
Your miracle is the next.

Congrats, I am really happy for you.Kcsider said:GREETINGS TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS. LET ME MAKE MY ENTRANCE INTO THE FORUM OFFICIALLY TODAY AS I GIVE YOU THE GOOD NEWS......

Hello,
Please be informed we sent you a copy of the following e-mail on 15-12-2011.
Date: 02-02-2011
YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA(S) APPEAR READY TO BE ISSUED, IF THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE IN YOUR FAMILY CONFIGURATON. IF THERE HAVE BEEN ANY CHANGES, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE BEFORE PROCEEDING.
You are requested to submit your passport(s) and documentation BY COURIER within 60 days to the Canadian High Commission so that we may issue your visa(s) and return your documentation to you. The visa will be valid for 6 months or until the expiry of your medical results ( 25-03-2011), whichever is earliest. You may also appear IN PERSON within 60 days at the Canadian High Commission in Accra any Monday, at 8:00 am, for visa collection. The visa will be issued the same day. You must bring this letter with you.
Please note that you are advised not to commit to any travel plans, purchase tickets, or take any irrevocable action such as selling property, or resign employment until you have received your immigrant visas.
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO ISSUE YOUR VISA:
* Updated police certificates from your country of residence for you and your spouse respectively. These must include the fingerprints page used to obtain the police certificates, if applicable.
- Updated family information: you must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM8 application form. Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa.
- PASSPORTS. Check that:
• There is an individual passport for each family member accompanying you to Canada. Children must have their own passport.
• Each passport is valid for at least 6 months.
• Each passport has sufficient free pages (two required for our visa, plus pages for any transit visa)
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CITIZENS OF NIGERIA
E-Passport: We will only accept applications that include an e-passport. The Government of Nigeria has informed us that effective Dec 31, 2010 the older style of Nigerian Passport is no longer valid, regardless of the validity date on the passport. As we will only insert a visa in a passport with at least 6 months validity, we have stopped accepting the older style passport and require applicants to submit the new e-passport.
