So i decided to ask the Canadian immigration office in Lagos via email on the segment that states have enough money for your stay. The amount of money you will need can vary with the circumstances of the visit, how long you will stay and whether you will stay in a hotel or with friends or relatives. For more information, ask the Canadian visa office in your country or region.
however they kept sending me mails / information thats as good as garbage even when i told them they haven't provided the right information , they still sent the exact same crap . Please i would need the help of any of you guys who have good information on this . Thnx a lot

You have almost all the info you need.The other thing I will want to add is that the person inviting you should be ready to tender documents showing your relationship,their legal status, employment and financial situations in Canada which may be requested by the VO.
