My update...

The idea of this meeting is very beautiful and well thought out. I hope to be there on the 26th.

Collecting my documents has not been easy..Unilorin will not give transcript by hand, I have to go as far as Jos to collect references, Police reports done, new passport for new baby and her own appl fees in Canadian draft also done, Just put in for IELTS in ghana against 15January as all spaces have been occupied in Nigeria till after february.

I was only lucky I got someone to pay and fill my forms for me in ghana or else I would have been required to make two ghana trips..

The whole thing is really stressful.. is it worth it..?

@benny, you can say that again and again the process is very stressful. I was so lucky i collected my wife's transcript from O.O.U which took 2 months as the school has been shut down totallly, same thing applied to ife i went to OAU to collect my transcript only to end up passing the night over there due to lack of electricity to print out i still did not collect until after a week or two after constant pressure on the typist. All this among many others i thank God i have finally completed the document gathering.

I pray it would be worth it for us all in Jesus name

Am done with my exams and i thank everyone who prayed for me. Ig, got the PM thanks i wish you guys fruitful deliberation much as i want to be there its really not convenient but would try and be at the next one.

For guys in Abuja and environs (if any) it wont be bad if we also network even if on phone it wont be a bad thing to start getting personal enough of computer talk. Madam Ig, I do agree 30mins isn't too much to spare for friend but the issue is that I would be travelling immediately after the Holy Ghost Congress. Like I said I would have loved to be there to fellowship and encourage those of us that might be discouraged because of the application process. Also it would have given me to meet one on one with most of moi virtual friends. And of course from the meeting solid networks and business ideas will be generated.

Landed issues can also be discussed with a view to preparing members for eventual landing.

They check for both. But there is no harm in crediting your account with a huge amount at this stage from any other source. if you know that your account balance is short of the required amount for your family size, you have to write a cover letter to explain the source of such huge amount and why. Or should you have a FIXED DEPOSIT, this can be presented as well in addition to your bank statements.

For Example; Accra asked for my wife's academic transcripts, but due to strike action at unilag then, she couldnt laid hands on the trascripts and i have to write a cover letter why we couldnt submit her transcript at this time. What i did was to submit "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN'' a letter that confirms her graduation,year, degree and her grade. Wriiting a covering letter might be of help if you know you are experiencing some intricacies
Should you not have the required amount, present them any other alternative evidence in addition to your bank statement that shows the amount required
