toto1,

Tinu et al, have said it all.You should be fine in as much, as you have attached a covering letter.Be patient please.

It is well my dear.

Supa, what can i say to you;put your trust in God.Things might eventually change, with the 20000 caps if utilized and followed properly by the VO in Accra.

Ig

Igbehinadara,

How does the 20000 cap bodes well for oldies? Does this means because they have a cap of 20000 then they will have slots to process pre Feb 2008 applicants? Pls help me to understand further.

Sup.

old applicants regardless of the time are excempted from the new rules.Only those that applied from may 26, would the rules apply to.I do not understand the reason for the delay in getting 1st AOR.I am running out of patience. The reason why i am not really bothered at this point in time is that even if i am giving the AOR now i cannot send in full document until october ending when i receive my IELTS reslut. So i still got a lot of time.Presently preparing all of my document

Awoderu baba,

I beg take am easy ooooo In as much as you have time, stop bothering on AOR....Keep in mind that you need total rest of mind to combat IELTS exam...A little flip may cause doom (Not your portion though)

So moi broda, take am easy once again....I wrote IELTS two months ago and am waiting for AOR too.

The Lord will see you through in flying colours.

Fellow Naija,

My dear this is not peculiar to you alone. many applicants on the april and may full document sent to visa office thread have experinecd the same thing. Truth is nobody seems to know why but we want to be hopeful that it is all for good.
Cheers

Supa,

Hope you understood Awoderu. The 20000 caps has nothing to do with the oldies.Chill ,our God is in control.

Hi Igbehinadara, Tinuadeadebola, Awoderu et all,

I did an enquiry to Accra and below is their response.

"Your application is in queue for review. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they were received."

I also got a response to the case specific enquiry I made and this is where I now need you guys to advise me. They are asking me to submit an updated IMM 0008 form because I have a new born in my family and to also submit notarized birth certificate for my baby.

Guys - since I do not know the date they will process my oldies (2007) application I am think I should wait till they are ready before I update my application with my new baby. Please what will you guys advise? should I send in an updated IMM 008 form now or I should wait till they request update before I do that? It was the simplified application process that I used and then I did not include birth certificate - why would they now be requesting for birth certificate for a new baby?

Thanks as you share your experiences
