My sister, not so at all; I couldn't, even if I try, this site helped me so much and I feel obligated to visit every now and then. The processing is different now, so my knowledge/information is outdated. I can only share ideas on the landing and settling side...

True, time is becoming something else these days but we thank God for having something to do..I just moved into a house, the closing and moving are big time stories on their own...settling in and learning about the house is another. Naija houses na block, here na wood, person get to sabi use am to enjoy am safely. I am learning to also do things on my own, labour is expensive here..service call charges of a licensed plumber could be as high as $150 unlike Naija where we have all the artisans at our beck and call.

Will be visiting to read, learn and share...It is well..
Congrats on your house and welcome to new home ownership in N.America :D Do not worry; it's easy to maintain houses if you are consistent...do not leave easy fixes till the stuff is broken; Do your regular maintenance and always seek advice when in doubt.

nice post guys and very importantly,we need to kep in touch celebrate each others successes and all.once we stay connected,we could be planting a seed that will make both counties better connected and have more regard for ecah other than it is now, don't forget if our children grow up here, they might NEVER think like us cos of the exposure,so we must stay together,u can all see how impressively the Chinese and Indians stick to each other, and form a better platform for the next generation of Nigerian immigrants in that land!!

Dreamteam,
That is a good one. Coming together and networking will do the magic. A united force indeed. I think Tito and other landed Naijas should champion this no matter their tight schedule. God help us all.

Barsindoo,
How are you getting along?
