do i stand a chance of been selected without proficiency in french language?

The answer to your query is nope. Quebec is French and French is Quebec.

You may want to check the thread on Quebec on this forum.I am sure most of your concerns are adequately addressed.As a non french speaker,your intent and willingness to learn and speak french with moderate or high proficiency will be form part of your application pending the outcome of your ability.

Hi chev,

You can call the BC with the contact nos on your exams notification or SMS contact nos.

I believe that will get you a positive feedback. They will request for your candidate no and full names to ascertain if your results is available.

you can just go to BC in port harcourt and pay 1k for them to courier it, then you can pick it up in PH in a couple of days that will save you the trip to lagos.

I sent my full doc Aug 6, how early should i expect my Ecas to change to in progress. I have not seen any change i am disturbed. I sent it throu EMS. I used EMS for the CIO post and my forms was delivered. So decided to use it this time arround

please i need your input. I submitted my full documents with WRITTEN SUBMISSION AS PROF ENG(INCLUDING A LETTER OF ATTESTATION TO USE OF ENG. FROM MY UNI). to Accra in May, AND got 2nd AOR acknowledging it for May 28. E-cas is still showing "Rec by VO"

Based on advise here I wrote July 31 IELTS. Scores: L 7.0, R 7.5, W 7.0, & S 7.0 = 14 POINTS.

Now, I claimed 3 years for work experience and hoping for 16points for lENG thus making my total points 69

But my RER LETTER shows I started in Jan 12, 2006 with responsibility of supervising bulk tellers, reporting income earned from cash processed and processing of e-payments. And as FINANCIAL MANAGER by AUG 1, 2007 with the full responsibilities as captured in NOC 0111.

Now, with the IELTS of 14 points i'll be 2 points down to 67. (EDU 20, AGE 10, WRK EXP 19, ADAPT. 4, LANG 14)


My question:
WILL THE VO ASSESS MY WORK EXP FROM AUG 1,2007 TO THE PRESENT, WHEN THEY EVENTUALLY TAKE UP MY FILE?
OR WILL IT BE FROM AUG 1,2007 TILL WHEN CIO INITIALLY ASSESSED IT?
OR WILL JAN 12, 2006 EXP ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO NOC 0111?

PLEASE ADVISE AS TO WHAT POINTS I'LL GET IN WORK EXPERIENCE AS I'M ABOUT FORWARDING THE TEST RESULT TO ACCRA

Hi, TJ2010,

Don't stress ur self. Your EMS parcel was delivered. I use them too and so far so good. However the change in Ecas is not always as prompt as u would expect. Moreover ur documents were only sent on the 6th of August, so give Accra some time to attend to ur case. Cheer up

If you don't the officer might be left with no choice but to use what is on record. You have come too far. Also 0111 is no longer on the list so go with caution. God will grant you great favour.
