Hello house,
Kindly advise me. In paying RPRF can the US dollar draft be drawn from any Nigerian Bank or are there some Banks that are not acceptable.
If so please which Banks are acceptable.
Thanks.

You can draw your foreign draft from any bank in naija......but most people use GTBank. I for one also used GTBank to process my own draft..........All the best

Hi,

Please I'm new to this thread and I'll appreciate if I can't get help from my fellow Nigerians. I applied for federal skilled worker under restaurant manager in feb 2011, the application was rejected in july based on incomplete points. The point was actually reduced because I didn't include my transcript. It was in the email I received that a mail has been sent to me. But its been 2 years now I didn't get back any mail from them. Aldou I re-applied including my transcript with anoda draft in nov 2011 but it was returned in january with the draft intact because the caps was full already. My concern now is the previous application's documents and my returned cheque, what do you think I can do to get my money back? Pls I'll appreciate all response to this. Thanks in advance

@ Akobi26, If I understand your question properly, you are asking of the first payment you made for your first application that was rejected? If that is the case, go to your bank and confirm if the draft was cashed by CIC, if it wasn't then your bank should be able to do a refund. However if the draft was cashed by CIC, CIC will need to do you another draft that can be paid into your dom. acct...............I hope this clarifies your concerns?....All the best mate

I bless God for this wonderful forum and the wonderful people in this forum. Our expectations will not be cut off IJN. If not for this forum, I will not know they were giving people in my batch passport request. When Lovina and the group of that period got theirs, I wrote Accra and they dropped a bomb shell that my husbands medicals was pending, I replied them that my entire family went for the medicals, what then happened to my husbands own? There was gloom in my house that day, but I encouraged myself in The Lord, I encouraged myself with His word. I contacted the DMP who told me they told him to load the medicals in the e-medical system which he did last week Friday. With much holding on to the word of God and declaring His word, I got it today. I bless The Lord who we can all on and will never disappoint us.
Thanks to all who have rejoiced with me and my family, MIDAS, Omo Naija, Melody2003, God Chosen, olusheg, GLORIOUS FAVOUR, etike, dcrest, Hakpoguma, DyDx, smooth, Forsure, Gabil, jodav3. God bless you all. The sound of rejoicing will always be found in your habitations IJN.

Congrat on receipt of your PPR, so happy for you

Hi, thanks for the reply, yes I was recently told I shld try the bank, so the bank asked me to submit police report and affidavit and a letter explaining that I could not find the draft. Which I did 2day and it will take 10days to verify frm city bank if CIC has cashed the draft or not. My concern now is if the draft has been cashed how do I get CIC to refund my moeny? What process do I take? Thanks once again

Congratulations DP!!! safe journey to Accra. Please tell them to have mercy on PNP applicants o! ;D

If you have a Dom account or have somebody that does with GTBank, he will help you obtain a Canadian Bank draft from the Bank. You do not have to go to Accra for that purpose. The draft must be in Canadian$ and not USD. Once you are done with that and through with all the requested documents, you send it to Accra with a Courier Service.

Hope this helps.

@ Ikemba, thanks a lot for the information. It is exactly what I needed. God bless

With a dorm account in Gtb, You can raise the draft in canadian $$$. Just visit the closest Gtbank branch to you and apply for $150 ( canadian) bank draft. It will be sent to their head office in lagos and as soon as the draft is ready, it will be sent back to the branch from which you applied. Then you pick up the draft from the branch. It usually takes btw 3-6 working days.

I hope this helps.

@ gel003, I am very grateful for the information. Exactly what I needed, God bless..

I jus want to thank everyone who has posted their good will messages. thanks so muck. Ma Ig, God will reward you for this forum, I would have been waiting endlessly. I also thank Kemke, Bukonla80, Emmy-est, smallie, mayoress and Midas. I pray for everyone waiting for one update or another , there shall be no more delays IJN.

Ki Akobi,

IMO, to get your documents and money back for the 2009 draft send a mail requesting for these from Accra. I expect the Accra office to respond to your request and this should prompt them to ask you to fill a form for refund of Application Fee. On the form you'll give your updated information and means by which you desire to be paid back. However, from experience, paying back takes as much time as processing but I know there are (or could be) some exceptions.

Best wishes.

@ Double Portion,

Congrats Sis. I am very happy for you and City of Calgary awaits your arrival. Quickly make plans for the Accra trip and I wish you God's guidance and favor in the remaining process and beyond.

Cheers.
