Headyman, where have you been? My brother the storm is finally over. If I should qualify it well, "the battle" was the waiting since April 2011, while "the storm" was the last three weeks. The storm is over. I thank my father in heaven. To the King eternal Immortal, invisible, the only God, be the honour and glory forever and ever.
Thanks for rejoicing with me. I will surely rejoice with you and all that are still waiting IJN. No one will be left behind IJN.

Hello all,
Congrats to those who have received requests for meds, passports & to those of us still expecting. God that has begun the good works in our lives will never stop half way IJMN. God will make all things beautiful for us all IJMN. I just stumbled on this forum and am joyous to be part of this wonderful family.
I mailed AVO last week informing them of the birth of my 3 months old daughter. I got a response from them today asking me to update my IM008, background/ declaration (Schedule A) and IM5406 ( additional dependent) forms both for me and my spouse.
I am also required to pay for processing fee of $150 for her.
Please dear members, do I have to get to accra before I can get a bank draft in Ghanian Cedis? I am currently in the north on official assignment. Thank you for your responses.

If you have a Dom account or have somebody that does with GTBank, he will help you obtain a Canadian Bank draft from the Bank. You do not have to go to Accra for that purpose. The draft must be in Canadian$ and not USD. Once you are done with that and through with all the requested documents, you send it to Accra with a Courier Service.

Hope this helps.

With a dorm account in Gtb, You can raise the draft in canadian $$$. Just visit the closest Gtbank branch to you and apply for $150 ( canadian) bank draft. It will be sent to their head office in lagos and as soon as the draft is ready, it will be sent back to the branch from which you applied. Then you pick up the draft from the branch. It usually takes btw 3-6 working days.

I hope this helps.

I bless God for this wonderful forum and the wonderful people in this forum. Our expectations will not be cut off IJN. If not for this forum, I will not know they were giving people in my batch passport request. When Lovina and the group of that period got theirs, I wrote Accra and they dropped a bomb shell that my husbands medicals was pending, I replied them that my entire family went for the medicals, what then happened to my husbands own? There was gloom in my house that day, but I encouraged myself in The Lord, I encouraged myself with His word. I contacted the DMP who told me they told him to load the medicals in the e-medical system which he did last week Friday. With much holding on to the word of God and declaring His word, I got it today. I bless The Lord who we can all on and will never disappoint us.
Thanks to all who have rejoiced with me and my family, MIDAS, Omo Naija, Melody2003, God Chosen, olusheg, GLORIOUS FAVOUR, etike, dcrest, Hakpoguma, DyDx, smooth, Forsure, Gabil, jodav3. God bless you all. The sound of rejoicing will always be found in your habitations IJN.
Congrats again Double Portion. Your polite email to AVO actually helped and provided insight where there was an issue re your hubby's medical update.
Without this forum, someone will be in the dark with no clue of what's going on around your collegaues and situations with AVO updates.
Let's keep our expectations high - God will do HIS work at the appointed time.

Hi,

Please I'm new to this thread and I'll appreciate if I can't get help from my fellow Nigerians. I applied for federal skilled worker under restaurant manager in feb 2011, the application was rejected in july based on incomplete points. The point was actually reduced because I didn't include my transcript. It was in the email I received that a mail has been sent to me. But its been 2 years now I didn't get back any mail from them. Aldou I re-applied including my transcript with anoda draft in nov 2011 but it was returned in january with the draft intact because the caps was full already. My concern now is the previous application's documents and my returned cheque, what do you think I can do to get my money back? Pls I'll appreciate all response to this. Thanks in advance

Hello house,
Kindly advise me. In paying RPRF can the US dollar draft be drawn from any Nigerian Bank or are there some Banks that are not acceptable.
If so please which Banks are acceptable.
Thanks.
