So my MI 1 friends, especially Emo, you shall be getting your MRs soon and come what may, you will get your visas by June 2012...it is destined!!! Amen!!

It seems it's applicable to all VO, it's no coincidence that all VO's are working on MI-1 at the moment, looks like they've all been given some internal instruction by the boss in Nova Scotia. Though some VO are processing MI-1 alongside other MI's while Accra is solely processing MI-1.DIAMONDX said:Its nt applicable to all visa offices
Mandie, this mail appears to be targeted at LVO applicants. Is there any MI 1 from Accra that you know who have received similar letter?mandiebraxton said:Yet another confirmation that VOs are going to finish MI 1 files by June 2012:

Not necessarily, have u noticed it's only MI1s who have received MR recently in Accra? That can't be sheer coincidence?Ikemba said:Mandie, this mail appears to be targeted at LVO applicants. Is there any MI 1 from Accra that you know who have received similar letter?

Hi Fran6,fran6 said:Hi ikemba, mandy, everyone,
I need your urgent advice. I scored 67 on the eligibility test.
First, Is it wise that I go ahead with the application with such a score?
Second, when is the ideal time to send in an initial application in view of the recent changes in policy?
Third, what other accompanying documents should I include in the application?
And by the way, my NOC code is 3012.
Thank you in anticipation
Ikemba said:Hi Fran6,
NOC 3012 is not among the 29 eligible occupations. You may need to be more specific.
Tick says the clock, tick, tick, what you have to do, do quick. If you are sure you really achieved 67 points and the NOC is still open, then there is no harm in trying. Remember, immigration rules change like clothes. On the MI-3 thread by westpoint, there are several people that applied with 67 points, some already have their visas.fran6 said:Thanks ikemba. I am a registered psychiatric nurse currently practicing in Nigeria. I intend to apply for the federal skilled worker program however, my score on the eligibility test was 67 points so, I wanted to know if its safe and advisable to continue with the application and when is the best time to put in an application. And
By the way, I got that code from this link: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Occupations.aspx?val=3
