It's really a worrisome situation. Pls my advice is that u go to Accra in person to pick another copy. It will take about 4 or 5 days for u to arrange a courier service to pick it up for u, because i understand u must first get consent from Accra. Then it will take courier another 2 or 3 days to deliver it. The dmp will also take about 3days before sending results. So to play safe, i think it's better to go to Accra. I pray that God will intervene & it will get to soonest.

My consultant sent a mail to visa office Accra yesterday on my medical form that had been in transit since march 19th, 2012. Fortunately for me, i just received the electronic copy of the medical request (form inclusive) from the visa office through my lawyer and give an extension of the deadline from May 18, 2012 to 60 days from yesterday.

Hope to go ahead with the medical by next week.

However, in the mail sent , it is stated that the physician (DMP) should send the result to :
Canadian Embassy
Medical Section
35 Avenue Montaigne
75008 Paris- France

For the fellow forumite that has done their medical, is this the same address quoted on ur own letter ? because i want to be sure.

AMEN! I actually paid alot for the medical. I paid a little over 180K at Asaju to have the medicals done on the 12th of March 2012.
I did the medicals on the 12th of March not 26th that was a mistake on my part.

Medical Request : Mar-08-2012
'Medicals received' updated : Apr-23-2012
Passport Request : May-03-2012

I sent in my application after much procrastination, on a whim in June 2010. I dint know at that time, that only 8 days later the rules would change and that my NOC would no longer be eligible. Now it seems that that 'whim' would determine where I spend the rest of my life!

The Lord is merciful and great are his ways!

Thank God my brother. My driver gave him beating of his life. But on arrival at the scene. I stopped him and the bank policemen came and took him away. But I quickly left the scene. Reason being that I want to avoid going to police station and be dragged into paying for entry books and the time wasting that could result. I went away rejoicing in God's deliverance.

Please budget for between $6,700 and $9,000 this will also depend on the time of the year you intend moving. Please consider BA too they appear cheaper than the list you put up here. If you don't mind going to Dallas before another 4hr flight to calgary. Or stay 12Hrs in Heathrow. Emirate is on the high side except you will opt for one way, that may cost $6,000+
