Pls what could this possibly mean?
I thought I had already submitted that in my original application.
Pls what should I do?

Yes this is a confirmation that your file is active. I got a similar letter in october of last year requesting only that in my case, they were documents relating to my wife. Documents were submitted within one week and since then my ECAS status changed from RBVO to in-process and then the waiting game began. This is going to 5 months now. It is not to deflate you but rather to prepare you as this people can be irritatingly slow at times.

For those that are in the Pre-2008 FSW program like I am. It might help to start buying some dollars and saving in a domicilliary account. A little here and a little there starts piling up over time.

It is official now. There are now more than a million people awaiting decison on Canadian PR. With the updated information on the CIC website. At the current rate of approvals it will take 4 years to complete the outstanding applications. But having said that, there is hope still.

Quiet worrisome, i have to change all my money from dollar account into Canadian dollars, infact it was a loss on my side. When i BOUGHT the USdollars the Canadian dollars was US$1- 0.8990CAN$ But now, there is a dramatic uprising of Canadian dollars which will continue rising in the next three months according to Dow jones FX newsletter
