Tinu,

Yes, you are right, but we are never reluctant to appreciate Prof Jega. for a well conducted free,fair and credible elction.

However, I'd rather say it is too early to judge. The first round of election is for NASS, lets see what the Presidential and the Gubernatorial elections would be like. Pls don't think am trying to assume danger or irregularity but I'll rather wait and analyse the whole election before sending out my opinion.( at leat they don get 1/3

Just yesterday, the news reaching us was that EFCC would investigate the fraudulent printing of ballots materials abroad in respect of a petition given to it! I forsee the PDP trying to manipulate the Prof thru the instrument of state just to make him do what they wanted afterall they used the NASS election to test their popularity and once they are clear that the remaining elections may go to the opposition they want to try every means possible to cornered the peoples' opinion.
Recalled that Jonathan was in Lagos to meet with Gbenga Daniels, Aremu and others over the poll results of saturday. Definately, the guilty are afraid! They are no longer confortable in their comfort zone. This morning he was consulting with Asiwaju Tinubu of ACN to form alliance with PDP...eemo (abomination!) can you imagine?( PDP/ACN alliance is an abormination in deed, it cannot exist, ACN/ CPP too has a slim possibility of coming 2geda. i just hope ther wont b a run-off sha. in my opinion the presdential election is a contest btw ACN and CPP but the split in d north might actually give PDP the edge.i hope it will b a Fiasco for PDP

Now here is my view, lets wait and see if Prof. Jega will stand by the people or will chickened out just like the former INEC head, the Professor of Chemistry!

@ Pa Naija Pikin, my granny too was not allowed to vote o...they complain of her age also. Infact I have come to conclusion that you and ma granny have everything in common. I don't know why you are running away from her

Hmmmmm. Madam Tinu,: True talk. no doubt the NASS election was to a large extent a huge success and we commend Prof Jega.I particularly like the surprises and the " failure/handicap of some of the godfathers" :p :p :p :p :p. Let's keep our heads up and go out en masse to vote in the right candidates. Lots of schemings are on, but I sure know that Naija's LIBERATION from the hawks ;D ;D has started.

@Naija pikin, Thank God for you oooo ;) ;) ;). that indicates progress on your case. Abeg send in the documents sharp sharp ooo, becos e bi like say the VO dey vex for you ooo, e no even give you the option of reapplying if refused. In my case they said: failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. When you are refused, you can reapply, but under the new rules.. Meanwhile, you don fashi your Cherie Amour for Grannie so quick? :eek: :eek: :eek:. You fall my hand.

This could only mean they are carrying out a background check on you AND need further confirmation of your employement details. Be careful what you send them, try to be convincing as I suggested earlier like the UK Border Agency, a 1year payslip will be needed for confirmation. If u can send up to I year details of your payslip I think It will be convincing enough. ;D ;D Good Luck Bro

Yes, I am post June 26th. Yes the payslips are readily available, and would be sent sharp, sharp. But my concern now is, sending original copies of employment letter, promotion letter, and other relevant docs?, wouldn't that be at the risk of losing such vital docs?.

Great one Tinu,
Also confirm that the value on ur payslips tallies with d creditted value on ur salary bank statement. Down here in the UK our employers pay slightly lower than what is valued on our pay masters slips

Bro if they insist on Originals use a returned payed DHL. After checking they place back ur docs in ur 2way payed parcel and return it to u. That is what entails with the UK Border Agency. If they are not keen on originals, then notarise the lot and send

Yes, the bank statement for the past one year is available, it clearly shows the salary inflows. There are also training certificates, articles written and published in international journals, etc. But do we send the originals of these certificates?, is one sure of getting them back?.

Thanks Obie, I will use the 2way paid courier service. They are keen on the originals, as you can see from a line quoted in their letter shown below;
