Dear All,

We thank God the journey that started Oct. 2011 came to successful ending with my family and I landing in Calgary Alberta on 24/04/2014.

We saved about 40% on ticket fare using the IOM option. We flew 6.30Hours via Lufthansa to Frankfurt and 9 hours by Air Canada direct to Calgary.

No hassle at the immigration, no request for POF. The entire process was about 30mins because of the large number of new immigrants that landed with us.

Despite the fact that we are entering the springs, the temperature in Calgary still falls below 0 degree and even snows. Canada cold no be small my people.

All in all Canada promises to be an interest place with loads of opportunities. God has already started his manifold works.

Stay focus my people and don't lose patience your time is around the corner.

Congratulations jodav3 my personal person. While DHL did not dissapoint on your part, it can not be said about mine & that of ASHELA. Contrary to what switchlanes said about them, I received a call this morning about 09:00am that they were to pick-up my parcel today Monday, 28th April, 2014. They equally provided me with the Tracking No. DHL is sick. When I logged-on, the parcel was
1) Picked from CIC Accra on Friday, 25th April, 2014.
2) Shipment picked up ACCRA - GHANA 15:58 - Today Monday, 28th April, 2014
3) Processed at ACCRA - GHANA ACCRA - GHANA 17:56 - Today Monday, 28th April, 2014

They called me again at 05:03pm Nigerian time that I can not get my parcel until Wednesday, 30th April, 2014. This is one week after. I want to inform you that if this escalation was not done, they might even take their time more to deliver it. Not everybody who receives unsatisfatory services comes to the public to tell it. If you base your report on jodav3 who have just received his PRV, you may assume that it takes generally 2-3 days for DHL to deliver. Anyway, it is well.

All required documents sent in with application
PER/AOR : November 27,2013
Visa Office: Accra
Application status : In process.

I seriously hope and pray that Accra visa office will start working on our cases very soon. According to the CIC news release on April 23,2014 the FSWP backlog is on track for elimination this year,so AVO please tighten your work belts.
