@ ginacom chk ur spam mail. My husband thot dey didnt respond but he later saw their response in his spam folder. They actually responded d nxt day.

The company e-mail I uses does not allow e-mails to go into spam. My communication went beyond just sending e-mail & waiting for response. Apart from the DHL enquiry e-mail address which gives a generic auto reply to every e-mail you sent, I copied several persons who have been in touch with me both through phone & e-mail communication. I tried calling them simply because, some of our colleagues have been poorly treated due to DHL negligence.

Thank God for sucessful landing

Dear All,

We thank God the journey that started Oct. 2011 came to successful ending with my family and I landing in Calgary Alberta on 24/04/2014.

We saved about 40% on ticket fare using the IOM option. We flew 6.30Hours via Lufthansa to Frankfurt and 9 hours by Air Canada direct to Calgary.

No hassle at the immigration, no request for POF. The entire process was about 30mins because of the large number of new immigrants that landed with us.

Despite the fact that we are entering the springs, the temperature in Calgary still falls below 0 degree and even snows. Canada cold no be small my people.

All in all Canada promises to be an interest place with loads of opportunities. God has already started his manifold works.

Stay focus my people and don't lose patience your time is around the corner.

You can talk about that again Gina, since thursday when i gave DHL instructions to pick up my package no action has been done yet ,as at this morning the package has not been picked up. I only received my tracking number this morning after harrasing them on the phone throughout the weekend also. After checking all i get is "Instructions have been received at Accra........".
if it takes them 2days to deliver passports form ngeria to accra am wondering why passport pickups have to take longer.
Funny enough i dont think any other forum member has complained about them.

FSW Seniors in the house, I need your guidance on my application. Kindly proffer answers to the following:


1. Can i use the combination of my spouse and my own pension statements as POF i.e without a bank statement?
2. How many months bank statement is required?
3. Which of the High Courts can one use for notarization (in Lagos)?
4. Am I to submit my PCC with my application?
5. Who should the reference letter from my employer be addressed to?


These are my questions for now. I would appreciate if anyone who has gotten a PER/has crossed the finishing line could send me the checklist they used when applying.
