Ans to Q1 - NOPE only original is accepted. When you sign up for the WES FSWP package, after all said and done; they will send you two original (1copy for your record, 1copy to put with your application to CIC). They will also give CIC access online to verify the authenticity of your assessment report.

Ans to Q2 NOPE, however if you need the extra points from her language ability, she will need to submit an IELTS result. For you to get the 5points under adaptability for your spouse's english ability, she will need to pass the IELTS to the equivalent of CLB 4

Yep, if you want points for both

if you do only for your first degree, you get 21points

if you include your masters and it is assessed as been equivalent to a masters in Canada, then you get an extra 2points to take your education point to 23points

No you don't need to have both degrees evaluated. Only your highest degree counts with all post Bachelors Degree (Masters / PhD). There is still nothing wrong in evaluating both degrees but note that you will only score 23 points for your Masters degree. Your WES evaluation will show that a Bachelors degree was a prerequisite for admission to your Masters program and that confirms to CIC that you also hold a Bachelors degree.

For those expecting Passport return from Accra through DHL, you can go to their website once you have the waybill number and sign up for notifications at the point of custom, exceptions, on the way to delivery and when actually delivered. You can indicate both your phone number and email address for email and SMS notifications. I have just done same

I forwarded my pick-up e-mail to DHL since Wednesday, 23rd April, 2014 for the Accra pick-up, but I have not received concrete feedback from them till date. I paid #38,000 for both delivery to Accra & Return of the Envelope. The instruction was that I must notify them with the e-mail from Accra. My parcel was delivered at Accra after two working days. Two days after notifying them for the pick-up, they couldn't provide feedback on when the parcel will be picked at Accra & when it will be delivered to me. I was very furious with the way they work. A customer service staff later provided me with a Booking Reference Number that has 15 digits that starts with 3 alphabetical letters followed with 12 numerical figures. I asked him what can I do with what he provided? He responded that one of their staff should be able to respond to me each time I called & tell me what & what about the parcel.

This monopoly from DHL, Nigeria very soon will spoil work. I think we better think alternative route to this. I am not the type that believes much on excuses why certain issues can't be done right.

I have escalated the ugly situation to DHL MD & Director of Customer Service all in US. They responded sharp-sharp not the Nigerian way of working with full assurance that the issue was being addressed with apology & much appreciation for bringing this to their knowledge.

Thanks my brother for this assurance. If the human being working for DHL had given me this assurance, I wouldn't go into escalation, but they just don't know what to tell a customer who needed to be assured like this.

I seriously hope and pray that Accra visa office will start working on our cases very soon. According to the CIC news release on April 23,2014 the FSWP backlog is on track for elimination this year,so AVO please tighten your work belts.
