gel003, i don't think they do give preference to applicants that use consultants, and that is also clearly stated on their website, that there is no preferential treatment to applicants that used consultants. I equally have a friend that applied shortly after me who used a consultant though not Cohen but another Immigration Lawyer and his application is still stuck at RBVO.gel003 said:I greet everyone in da house. Please I like to share a conversation I had with my hubby's friend dis evening.
D guy called to know what's up with our PR application, and I told him dat presently on our forum, it's MI1 that Accra is attending to now.. And he said a friend of his dat applied in jan2011 has gotten his visa. He said d guy used Campbell Cohen as his consultant . So my question is, Does Accra give special preference to immigration lawyers?
Your hubby's friend probably must have been one of those early MI2 whose applications were processed before they stopped further processing on MI2. You will recall that there are many early MI2 applicants that have landed, so he may have fallen under that category. Lets continue to pray and watch.
