Reporting to the Team Leader - Business Development (South), the Business Development Representative (BDR) will work closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives (AE’s) and other key members of the Corporate Sales Alberta Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
The main priority and responsibility of the BDR is fulfillment, account management and territory development for new and existing customers. This includes:
- Delivery and servicing of hardware as required and training customers on hardware usage.
- Collaboration with AE’s to set up service level expectations per individual customer accounts.
- Management and development of existing customer accounts including up-selling of products and services into accounts and increasing overall usage within accounts.
- Training of key contacts and customer stakeholders on Bell Mobility products, services and applications when required.
The BDR will also be responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of client relations to ensure:
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
- Increase customer loyalty.
Where appropriate or required the BDR will follow up on sales leads as follows:
- Medium customers.
- In conjunction with AE’s.
The BDR role is an outbound sales support representative and is expected to spend the majority of their time with existing customers and uncovering opportunities in existing accounts.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Demonstrate an aptitude for sales and keen interest in working in a sales environment.
- Been successful in a prior sales or customer service position.
- Have a basic knowledge of cellular products and services.
- Be a positive, organized and motivated individual.
