Morning Newbies....for all you who have or who are going to Church please send out a prayer for me as I am here at work today. I know that GOD understands and he blesses me always and knows that if I could do better I definetly would rather be in his house today.

Welll I just wanted to wish each and everyone of you a happy Easter and even though were are away from our loved one we still thank the Father up above for all the wonderful things that he has done for us. My daughter came to me last night with something she found online, not sure who it was written by, but it really made me stop and realize that I have been ungrateful for all the things that have and or have had in the pass. It basically said that if you woke up this morning we should be thankful...If we have a roof over or head and food to eat we are in the top 80% of rich folks , if we have a job to go to or a few dollars in the bank we are amongst the 8% wealthiest ppl in the world and if we have no sick or aliment in our bodies we should be most thankful for healthy bodies. I paraphrased it but ppl let us really stop today and ask the Father to forgive our ungratefulness if we have been ungrateftul. I am not baptized or anything but I do go to church we I can and I am telling you I will not be allowing negativity to control me anymore, I am always going to try and look on the positive. I am very pesimistic but optimism and I will now begin to walk hand in hand!!!!

Oh I got an email for Ecas Tracker this morning saying that my tracker has been updated but it was referring to my husbands ecas. I was able to finally sign on to Ecase using his B file # and it now states exactly what was under my account on Ecas. It took 9 months for it to work but it is finally working....Way to go KGN.

Nothing really happens before its time!

Hello everyone

Happy Easter to all!! Had a wonderful day so far. Was at Church this morning with my hubby and daughter....and had a great Easter lunch. Feeling truely thankful today to be a wife to a wonderful man, and a mommy to the worlds most amazing little girl. This Easter is full of thankfulness and joy for me!!

Hope everyone else is having a wonderful Easter, and for those of you waiting on loved ones...keep your chin up. Just think...I'm sure for most or all of you....next Easter will be spent with your loved one as a family!!

lonely_wife : I think that if my husband wasn`t here then I`d bring my son, but if he is here... i think i`d rather have it just be us 2 and get a sitter. The fact that we both have something in common with everyone there would make for a fun adults night out i think. We don`t get too many of those!!

Smoothiequeen-you are truley amazing and ten steps ahead because you have the support of your daughter's "biological" mother. I do hope that things go smooth for you! You already are an apporoved sponsor so I'm thinking if they require a notorozed letter they will ask for this when they do a doc request. Having this prepared is a god idea and agree with the others to maybe have this done in adavnce and submit can"t hurt!

I sent off my request for CAIP notes. I'll keep you all posted! Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement! I've decided to hold off on calling MP until I recieve my notes. That way they'll need to dig a little deeper by contacting KG directly. I don't really need them reading me caip notes i want "real" updates and want them to contact KG directly.

As far as the party thing in hubby's area....I get very disappointed when something is going on and I cant be there!!! Like he called last night and he was at a beach party in Ochi and i could here all the nice music in the background....and where was I...in my bed!!!! UGGGHHHH but I know that Jamaicans party and celebrate everything....they may not have money and have alot of social issues but one thing about that island they always find a way to relax and enjoy themselves...Hats off to them. Dont worry though you and hubby will be having your own celebration/party very very soon.

Hahahaha the irony is....this same Beach party was going on not to far from where we are this weekend....and I to was in my bed. Between the Kite Festival and Easter...St. Anne has been off the hook in the past week. Family and I passed a ton of bikini and beach wear clad people wandering towards the beach with music pumping in the distance as we were on our way to church. Kind of an odd mix...Church/Sunday and Beach Parties. Something about it makes me wierdly uncomfortable....kinda wierd I know and it probably makes me sound like I'm insanely religious which is not the case...just a laid back Christian lady. Its just..Sunday seems like a Church day and for people who don't attend church...a day to spend with family. Pumped up Beach parties starting in the morning..possibly dragging over from last night...at the same hour people are driving to church...just feels wierd.

Seriously sometimes I wonder what happened to the adventurous social butterfly I used to be. All other people my age are still out clubbing and having the time of their lives and here's me....Suzy Homemaker lol!! I swear I'm boring now. I scrap book creative memories, bake, take my daughter on play dates...but hey who am I kidding. I love it...wouldn't have it any other way. My family really is my everything!! Funny how love changes everything hey!!

where has all the prayers gone, Jahlove you are in charge of prayers as you know lilmaya has a prayerphobia, girl keep that morning devotion going, my internet is still done so i will be out for a few more days, but all is well, just using the time to enjoy hubby.

on his visa it is stamped that he received the visa on the same day as his interview. march 30
i received an ecas update the day after he arrived and the tracker deactivated my account

im loving me up some sweet BAM BAM, God knows i might already been preggo, those type of BAM BAM must breed you!!!

thank you guys for all the support over the months and I want to say had it not been for prayers I couldnt have made it.

oh one more thing that i learned is you should apply right away for your spouse HC once he gets here, but you will get the HC 3 MONTHS FROM APPLYING, not three months from entry to Canada.

Well I hope kgn started working very early this morning, i really need to hear something from them now, i must say that i am a bit worried. Sunday was my first anniversay and thank God for family and church, it was a very good day, even if hubby wasnt here. We spoke at length on the phone but i guess that will have to do for now.

Good Morning Fam and HAPPY TUESDAY!!

I know for many of us the weekends are not our best moments and an EXTRA long weekend was probably hard for many. We made it through though and I hope you were able to enjoy it and give thanks and praises!!

I can't tell you the relief I feel to know Kingston is back at work today and I pray that they had a nice peaceful long weekend and are ready to help perform God's miracles today and reunite some well deserved families!!
