another monday morning filled with hope and goodness for all.
Jahlove I just love how you and the daily bread is just teaming up on me, recently I have been so ungreatful, thinking in my silly head that God owes me this much, but the truth is God owes us nothing and we owe him everything and we ought to give him thanks expecially in times when we feel more disappointment that is when God is present most we are just to hurt to see and feel him.

Dear God today we give you thanks for all that you have done for us so far, and is about to do, we pray this day that you will bless all our families and keep us safe through the course of this week, we pray that you wake up the IO that have been sleeping on some of our files for so long, and energize them today Lord to actually get some work done, God remember Ramdont God if I believe its about time and Im just human how MUCH more you who are God, Prove yourself one more time today on this forum, let this be a sign to any who may not believe in you to that there is a God and he indeed does answer prayers. God I beseige you this day "let the call come for Ramdont today" and while you are at it throw in one for proper, and lilmaya, and God how can I put a limit to you, Let the calls come in Jesus FOR ALL OF THSE WHO WAITS. this we ask in Jeus Name.

he can4vincy, welcome to the newbies forum, congrats on your updates, i myself received weekend and even 3,am update. i also noticed that you had an interview on 23 march, please would you mind sharing your experience with us.

also did they take your passport after the interview and did they not tell you the result after the interview.

Good morning everyone...I've been feeling the same about not looking forward to weekends. I follow the thread for the office in Trinidad but just to lift your spirits a little I now have received updates twice over weekends. My status changed yesterday to in process and that they started processing our app on the 13th of April. So best of luck to everyone here!! Keep checking

Good monring Newbies...Jahlove and Lilmaya thanks for the wonderful vibes this monday morning. God is truly and just and fair God....I know that there are times where we sometimes get down and out and we forget to remember all the wonderful things he has done for us. I am know I have been a victim of not always appreciating all the things that he has done for me and all the things he has brought me through. I have however vowed to always make sure I am thankful first and foremost for all he has done for me when I feel things are not working in my favour.

Thank you for the welcome everyone...yes my husband went on the 23th of March to POS for an interview. Lasted a total of about 45 mins. He was asked many questions but not in the level of detail we were prepared for. General questions regarding my family and the father of my children. The IO said to him that they requested his background checks before the interview and had not yet received them. That at this point that was the only hold up. She kept all the addtional proof of relationship paperwork he had taken in and said that we would be notified of their decision. He had to travel from St. Vincent to Trinidad for the interview.

waiting-for-a-star : Good luck with your exams. My first and only ECAS update so far was between 11pm and 1 am so it's true, we shouldn't be so quick to write off the weekends. Something is going on afterhours..even if it's only ECAS updates.

Morning and welcome newbies! I had a relaxing weekend, but some how didnt feel very ready for my Monday morning.. oh well! AS I as am sure we all feel better that it is monday, the weekends can be so tough.. I hope everyone one is feeling a bit better! We have all come so far, Its so interesting that we all feel the doom and gloom of friday/ Does anyone remember when is was TGIF?? lol We are all part of the TGIM team.. one day we will rejoice when friday hits! Lilmaya.. work out regime doing great, im down 19lbs.. feel awesome.. cant loose no more tho... cause Im tooo damn broke to buy a new wardrobe!!!.. I have pilates tomorrow.. and i cant wait! Oh and Im leaving the 29th to JA...omg i cant wait!!. im under sexed.. and moody as hell! Ill be walking on sunshine for 13 days people!
Mrs. proper.. I swear skype has basically saved us!!! we call a few times a day.. and bbm all day.. and well my favorite part is when i see him face to face.. it makes all the tension disappear for a minute for sure!

Helllo everyone

Been missing my visa forum family. Internet has been very hit and miss since I got home....so I've been taking advantage of the hot sun, and the beach. Honestly when you live here you don't get to the beach very often and hubby and I are trying to take advantage of the things we are really going to miss.

Hubby and I took the little one to see that new movie " Rio" on the weekend, and I have to say its one of the best kids movies I've seen in a long time. We LOVED it as much as she did!

I need to scan through and see whats new, but congrats to anyone who might have gotten updates and praying for quick updates for those still waiting.

SmoothiesQueen....Congrats on sending your package and thanks also its truely a blessing to know that hubby is coming home soon... He is picking up his passport today and we are booking the flight in a few hours... (it may not be until june) but doesnt matter cause its a small price to pay to be able to spend the rest of my life with hubby here in canada..

Now you should be expecting the first part of your application (assessment of sponsor) to be processed in Mississauga if I look at the time lines online I am seeing 41 days for processing... They are currently working on files that they received March 11, 2011. So this is where you will find out if you are eligible to sponsor your husband.

After this if you are found eligible to sponsor him, your application would be sent to Jamaica and this processing time for this process is 16 months. Within the first 90 days of receipt of your application Kingston should you send an acknowledgement letter (Just a little heads up that this does not always happen and if it does it's not always before the 90 days). They also review the application quickly and check for any missing documents and you will be notified by a letter if they need any other documents usually around the same time as you receive the AOR. Then after that... the long wait begins and lets hope you dont have to wait so long cause trust me not knowing what happen can be real frustrating even if you are with your husband... Once they are ready they will either call him in for an interview or they will waive the interview and call him for passport request... They usually advise you approximately 2 months ahead of time before an interview so you have time to prepare if an interview is needed.
