Lilmaya-thanks for thinkin of me girl! I'm here soaking it all in! I get so excited when I hear all the good news. Its amazing to see how fast Kingston is moving these days.God is answer our prayers fam! I really do hope they continue to move at this pace and reunite familes.

Right now I'm in the process of researching how to get hubby's degree equivalency here in Canada. Glad I'm looking into this now because it looks as though his university will need to send transcripts to canada for assessment to gain an ontario/canada equivalency. At least while we're waiting we can deal with stuff like this. It somehow makes the wait seem shorter. For those interested in getting this report here is the link. They can also get a report for secondary school equivalency which will help if they are applying for jobs or to go back to school tp upgrade.

Also congrats to all my lovely sistas who've recieved great news from KG. Its motivating and what keeps me going in times when I feel like KG forgot us. I think of ladyposh who heard nothing...the whole time then all of sudden boom...ppr & doc request!!!! Lovely

Also, I too received that ecas update. I email them back and to find out if it meant that KG was actually acting on our file; a glitch in the system etc. He says its seems to be related to the address appearing and disappearing.

His reply below

"It's the mailing address. The "case type" number actually gives it away. Originally when you signed up the address was there (case type 4) then it disappeared (10) and reappeared again (back to 4).

I've never had a good explanation of why it does that sometimes, but (unfortunately) it doesn't seem to be related to actual action on the file."

am gonna study for my test, my honor roll is in jeopardy, i cant seem to keep nutting in ma brains these days. Oh God hubby will be coming in the middle of my two of my finals. God help me those days...

Jahlove nice morning devotion...I love it!!!! Times are so hard all around that we really need to keep thoughts like this in our heads and constanlty repeat them to keep us going. Faith is such a deep and meaningful word and I have come to really appreciate and truly understand its meaning not only through this whole immigration process but in other areas of my own life.
