Hey everyone!!!

Lilmaya... hubby is enjoying the job... but he keep telling me how he cant stand the AC at work.. he says they are trying to show him what winter feels like... lol but i keep telling him winter is way colder... he still not understanding... if i leave the windows open at night and a breeze comes in he sits on the couch with his hands under his legs....

got a question I have been employed on and off while going to school since 2006 as they ask for the preceeding 5 years do i add a note saying I was going to school when there is a Gap between employment or can there be a gap between employment and that won't create worries because primarily since 2007 I have been attending school full time but little jobs on the side/summer jobs


also my PP doesnt have exit stamps only entry stamps to jamaica and that was part of my proof does anyone else noticed that with their pp

EDIT: I found 1 answer Because you only go through Canada Customs when you arrive in Canada. When you leave you go through the Customs Agents of the country you are entering. If you are entering your country of citizenship/residence, they will not stamp your passport. If you are entering another country as a visitor it will get stamped again by that country's customs service.

Ked: I dont think you need a seperate note, you could just write that you were going to school in that time frame just like you write when you're working.

Kedeisha: If i remember the forms correctly there are 2 seperate areas for education and work. I think if you fill them out in chronological order, the IO should be able to figure it out. They also say if you have additional information you want to add, you can add it on a blank piece of paper so you can further explain if you feel it's necessary. I don't think it can hurt to try to make things more clear for them, especially if you feel like it might stir up any questions in their mind.

Good Morning All and happy update Thursday!!

Last night my husband and I were having a 'grammer' lesson. He was trying to say Certificate rather than Cerfiticate, Crispy rather than Cripsy and lastly Film rather than Flim. My family is Jamaican so I know this is not a husband thing... this is a Jamaican thing. So he was trying to say " I want a crispy film certificate" a few times fast. OMG... it was so funny but i think film is lost cause... he just can't say it. Funny.

Today is going to be a HOT day ... and i'm talking the depths of hell hot!! 38 degrees?! Feeling like 48 degrees? Irving...you have room on your couch? We might have to come crash in Alberta for a few days til this passes!!

Kedeisha : Ah yes... now I remember. Less info for you and more detail for your husband. I agree... keep it simple.

I believe for question 8 they are only asking about addresses you had outside of Canada. I lived in Jamaica for a few years also, so I clicked YES then wrote Jamaica - my families home address (even though I didn't always stay there) - and the time frame which i was not in Canada.

How's it going Family...I'm back in action again

I read through all the pages I missed while away and was sad to see absolutely no updates What is going on?? Is KG on hoildays? In Jamaica I couldn't resist and had a brief moment of internet access and click on pg 226. I swore from what i read that Mr. and Mrs Proper got through and was so happy only to come home I find out I just mis-read! Anyhow...welcome to all the newbies, this is dfinately the place to be while you wait through this horrible imm process!

Seeing hubby again was just what I needed. We had an amazing time together but it all ended too soon! This time was extremely hard for both of us cause as you all know its been 13 months now and so many people have gotten through within 7 months. Everytime someone on the resort said "where are you guys from?" I wanted so badly to say Canada and actually mean the both of us! That was extremely hard. As I departed for Toronto people probably thought we were crazy...blowing kisses and waving through 4 lines of people, immigration and the security check point! For most it would be impossible to still see each other but we did right up until I arrived at the stairs to go up to the gates. Gotta love mobay airport! In kG hubby cant get pass the front doors without ticket and passport! Anyways...im praying this will be my last trip to JA and that we'll hear something soon! Can't do this anymore and every trip seems harder than the last!

Hang in there family...Our time soon come! Oh and BTW the tears were streaming at Sanchesters landing story...just beautiful!

Good morning everyone. Sorry it has been so long, hubby is enjoying working, he is working in the produce section at Walmart 5 min from home. Someone stole his bike seat about a week ago from his new bike while working. He couldn't believe it, all the times he left his bike in the town center in Falmouth and took a cab to Mo-bay no one ever touched his bike. I was so thankful he never caught the person in the act, as he would of licked the person in the head with the seat. Thanks God!

I laughed when i read Lilmaya correcting hubby's words, Can your hubby say Cucumber properly? LOL Mine can't. My hubby is loving the heat also, my yard is looking great.

Loved the landing story Sanchester and so glad Ebonyshine got to see hubby, beautiful stories ladies.

The papers were received last Wed in Mississauga to bring my stepsons to Canada. I wonder how long that will take? Any guesses?

Follow up with that MP girl... you need that medical redo form.. STAT!! I know it's never easy to say goodbye and that 13 month wait is UNACCEPTABLE!! Hang in there girl... each day takes you closer to the end of this nightmare!!

jaruby : I can't wait to ask him to say it but if I had to guess... i'd say he'll say coocoomba. I'm happy to hear hubby is adjusting to work life but sorry his bike seat got jacked! Who does that!
