New sponsor after divorced

Dear all,

- I was outland PR sponsored and had landed 2012/JAN/12
- My wife and I have physically separated since 2013/FEB/23
- We are going to get divorced on 2015/JUN/01
- I applied for Canadian Citizenship 2014/AUG/25, now my file is IN PROCESS and file was transfer to the local office on 2015/APR/11

Could I have you guys a few questions?

1. After I got legally divorced, how long do I have to wait for to sponsor someone else as spouse/common law partner?
2. The divorce will affect my citizenship application?

First of all the first sponsorship is suspiscious.I am sorry to be dirrect but there is no way you guys you divorced in one yeear after all energy it take to sponsor some1.there is no perfect marriage it's a matter of how you communicate in different situations(good or bad).

second either you or your wife only after 5 years from the first sponsorship you will be able to sponsor, I think your sponsor knows that as she filled related questions when she was filling the forms to bring you.you can also print them from the website and see.
Third.even after 5 years it might be hard to approve your request.but does not mean that it can't be approved.I hope that time you will get some1 you can live with together longer.or to make it easier for you, you can get one from your community here and marry her.(just my suggestion).

There is no Post-Divorce waiting period. No, it won't affect your citizenship application. However, read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob386.asp

alexdive - were you living in Canada under some other status before you became PR? Otherwise I'm not sure how you got the required 1095 days as required to qualify for citizenship.
