Possibly, but in my case I cannot extend my work permit because it’s expiring with my passport. I’ve applied for a new passport but there’s also a delay on that because of COVID (wouldn’t life be so great if this COVID thing lasts forever? We would never have to do anything anymore and there’d no longer be a need to be accountable for anything in your life). I’ve spent 12 years in this country, a half of my life, and if that doesn’t make me a PR in Canada’s eyes, I don’t know what else would. Not quite sure what would happen if I have to leave Canada before the COPR is issued, but my plan is never to return. How I see it, when god’s showing you a clear sign, you just have to heed sometimes.

I suggest sending this documents to IRCC Ottawa office directly similar to how @IslandgirlSR did. May be that would help. Please send a detailed letter explaining your situation with the help of Attorney and fax it to IRCC if possible. Try with your local MP explaining the situation. May be one or the other options would work in your case.

Do anyone know how much time it will took now and as well in ircc client portal its still showing picture and adress in review

Client Portal Email: June 5th,2021
Credential to log in: June 21th, 2021. (All information submitted on the same day).
eCOPR: June 26th,2021 at 7:30 am I received the eCOPR email.

Do I need to do something to get PR Card, or just wait ??

I am sorry to hear your situation. Everyone someway or the other are in the same situation and waiting for eCOPR and PR cards. I honestly dont know the logic on how they issue COPR and PR Cards. There are people who just got submitted in April-2021 got thier COPR's and their PR card applications are approved whilst we are waiting with no signs of when we will be getting it... In my view, you have every rights to be issued eCOPR even before everyone.

Dont know when all of this will end. I am thinking we should do something to end this waiting game and I dont know what that something is...

Thanks a lot, mate! I was hesitant on doing that as to not rub someone inside IRCC the wrong way and end up prolonging the process instead of otherwise. I know each one of us have valid reasons to be anxious about this whole wait, and my reasons aren’t at all comparable to some of us here whose life’s trajectory and aspirations depend on this document.

I wish I could continue living here, all my childhood friends are here, all my favourite memories growing up are made on Canadian soil. I’ve lived in both coasts, in Quebec and in BC, and I’ve mastered both languages and ways of life Canada’s seemingly so proud of. This is my life and it’s sad that I might have to leave, but, in the end, if they don’t want to grant me PR status, it’d also be a relief knowing that Canada doesn’t want me here and I can move on with my life somewhere else for a new start.

@harmantoor1993 You should get it in a week or 2. Few people get a second GU or you will get a e-mail saying your pr card is approved. Can you please share your timelines and VO.

When you login to your CIC account, it shows "Application updated"/updated in the Current Status field for your PR card application.

Our gmcs notes state that copr in print queue and valid till end of july 2021 thats when my medical expires and status is: canceled, most likely because my wife who is PA is outland and me on visitor visa atm in canada. The question is does she need to be in canada in order for iirc to finalize the application? Or they can issue the copr and she needs to do the landing first? Gmcs notes are from march 2021.

Thanks to everyone in this forum, awesome members had enforced faith and helped me throughout the process.

I got the eCOPR today. Immigration team is even working on Sundays and they are processing bit faster now.
Portal confirmation email: 23 Jun 2021
Portal login credentials : 25 Jun 2021 and submitted phot and address the same day.
eCOPR: 27 Jun 2021

Believe in good and trust the timings. I Pray for everyone to receive a good news soon. Good Luck and trust the process you will get it soooon!!!!!

Congratulations... you are lucky that the process worked for you[ copr portal things wrapped up in 3-4 days] and you found TRUST in that. For us, it seems that the process is in a deep mess.
