Have you got your PR card? You’ll need to fill in an IMM0006E form, have it signed by your family/extended family, get it notorised, then send it in along with other documents through- you guessed it- another web portal. Then,- again, you guessed it- wait an indefinite amount of time to get the travel exemption.
You will need your PR card to do this, the COPR alone will not do.

I wish I do, but I’m still waiting for the COPR itself. I think the average waiting period has been 1 month, but we aren’t living in average times here, so it could be by the next ice age or it’s just as likely it’ll never arrive at all for all of eternity. Good luck!

What’s your local VO ? I’m waiting since 21 May. AOR January 2020. Was your file also in Covid group?

My application was with OSC. When I called CIC. They told me that it is in Etobiko..
Somehow, my gcms note doesn't have the information of that group.

Also do you know you VO? Just checking if your portal email was from Virtual Landing Unit , OSC (which is Ottawa)

@Smmrn That's the PR card application number. I don't think it'll change the application number of your PR application.

I do not have officer signature on ECOPR

@Simran9524 You'll have 2 pages. One IRCC copy and one client copy. You will have officer's signature in the client copy alone.

All the earlier weeks have been not as painful as this week, literally i can't sleep nor do my regular work ..This has been so awful.

Possibly, but in my case I cannot extend my work permit because it’s expiring with my passport. I’ve applied for a new passport but there’s also a delay on that because of COVID (wouldn’t life be so great if this COVID thing lasts forever? We would never have to do anything anymore and there’d no longer be a need to be accountable for anything in your life). I’ve spent 12 years in this country, a half of my life, and if that doesn’t make me a PR in Canada’s eyes, I don’t know what else would. Not quite sure what would happen if I have to leave Canada before the COPR is issued, but my plan is never to return. How I see it, when god’s showing you a clear sign, you just have to heed sometimes.

I am sorry to hear your situation. Everyone someway or the other are in the same situation and waiting for eCOPR and PR cards. I honestly dont know the logic on how they issue COPR and PR Cards. There are people who just got submitted in April-2021 got thier COPR's and their PR card applications are approved whilst we are waiting with no signs of when we will be getting it... In my view, you have every rights to be issued eCOPR even before everyone.

Dont know when all of this will end. I am thinking we should do something to end this waiting game and I dont know what that something is...
