As far as i know po your daughters passport is okey to be submitted because from today April -January she still have 9months valid passport and as per renewal passport even inside or outside Philippines your only allowed to renew your passport if the validity is 6months or less to expiring po. Hope this one will help to your decision in submission of passport.

Mine is 7months valid when i had PPR here in Canada.

Salamat po sa pag response. Papadala po ng anak ko passport nya within this week and hoping na makabalik agad para makapunta na sya agad dito. :) :)

Congrats Red.. :) :)

When I submitted the additional documents to Manila Visa Office via email, nag response po sila na received po nila yung email/documents ko.

Pero sa CIC account ko it still shows na Additional Docs required. Is it normal ba na ganun?

Yep. Normal lng lalo na pag sinend ung addtl docs thru email. No need to worry about it. :) ung hubby ko na rcv na yung visa nya but cic acct still shows "upload file" for addtl docs.

As long as u received an email from manila vsa ofc acknowleding they received ur doc, you will be fine :)

For those already received their visa or landed in canada, nkasulat bah sa visa nyo yung middle name or yung middle initial nyo? Bec visa ng hubby ko only shows last name and given name(first name). Wala yung middle name like sa passport. Ok lang bh yun? Hindi bh mgka problema upon arrival at the port of entry? Salamat sa sagot.

Thanks! Maybe he'll receive more pre-arrival services email. The first notes I ordered showed that an interview is required as he's an active law enforcer that was why I was wondering why he was sent pre-arrival services email. I ordered notes again a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping his interview was waived. Let's see.
don't worry if you have to attend for interview .visa officers are very friendly .they might ask a few questions about in your application ..don't stress yourself .before the interview start ,he/she will tell you why they called you for interview so you already know the answers for what question they might ask. for me, i felt that i was just sharing my story to a friend which is the visa officer .and also he/she will tell you right away after the interview if you were approve or not.just be your self and tell the truth .but if the interview waived is great news .you will be okay.good luck .

Hi I'm a newbie here in the thread and I'm happy to see a lot of us going together in this journey.

I'm just wondering if any of you here are also Feb. 2017 applicant? I have a major concern in my application and hoping that someone can give me a piece of advice.

1. They sent me a correspondence (via email) on March 16 requiring me to send the Schedule A document and link my account to myCIC. I was then able to link my application in my myCIC account successfully but there are no upload button available. It is also stated that there are NO required documents or optional documents for me.

2. I uploaded the Schedule A document via IRCC Webform instead BUT since I just uploaded the same document I was intended to submit in myCIC, I haven't put a handwritten signature in the document.

My deadline for the submission of the document was just last April 14. Am I doomed?

sorry to disagree with you i have that experience before and even though they were filipino interviewer they are mean .. they wont even smile at you and they will ask question way beyond you think they might ask you..some of the question they ask me before are .. where do your sponsor go shopping? and where do they go to church? what does your sponsor do during his or her day off?

For my husband on the visa its just his first and last name as well. I think thats normal sicne theres not much room on it anyways their passport numbers are on there too which matches up its fine
