For my husband on the visa its just his first and last name as well. I think thats normal sicne theres not much room on it anyways their passport numbers are on there too which matches up its fine

Sa COPR nya ah.. Nkasulat din bah ang Place of birth? Ngayon lang npansin ng hubby ko..walang nkasulat sa knya sa place of birth. Empty space lang sa country of birth nkasulat ay phils.

Im not sure tho. Bec my COPR, which i still have it, it showed my place of birth. Im planning to send email to mvo. My hubby is attending pdos today and was advised to reach out to mvo bec it might cause an issue at the airport. Im not sure why they told him that. It says in COPR na not valid for travel.

I looked online at peoples images of their copr.. i think thats normal not to have place of birth.. only a few have it filled many do not.. not gonna stress too much about it. I mean my husband has his visa regardless i doubt they will turn him away at immigration here..

Yan din naisip ko. Na worried lang kasi kami kasi pinagsabihan xa sa tga pdos to check with manila immi.
Tapos nagcheck din ako ng ibang thread about it, sabi nila ung officer at port of entry will add or correct the info. Ng email na ako sa manila immi. Lets see how it goes. Sana d nila ipabalik

I am the PA. Could I use my maiden name because that's what I currently have on my passport? Or, I really need to get my passport updated to my hubby's last name (will take months kasi July pa earliest appointment I could set with DFA). Thanks!

It is not necessary to change it. It really is up to us,if gusto mo palitan ung last name mo. I didnt change my last name to my hubby's last name.

don't worry if you have to attend for interview .visa officers are very friendly .they might ask a few questions about in your application ..don't stress yourself .before the interview start ,he/she will tell you why they called you for interview so you already know the answers for what question they might ask. for me, i felt that i was just sharing my story to a friend which is the visa officer .and also he/she will tell you right away after the interview if you were approve or not.just be your self and tell the truth .but if the interview waived is great news .you will be okay.good luck .

Thanks for the encouragement. Did they ask you to bring a specific document? 'Cause in my notes, it said, "Applicant to bring police service record." So we're expecting that the interview is about his occupation. There's no problem about our relationship as the visa officer is satisified as reflected in the notes.

sorry to disagree with you i have that experience before and even though they were filipino interviewer they are mean .. they wont even smile at you and they will ask question way beyond you think they might ask you..some of the question they ask me before are .. where do your sponsor go shopping? and where do they go to church? what does your sponsor do during his or her day off?

Like for what documents? If marriage cert and adv of marriages..ok lng un. Not sure if dpt lahat ng docs dpt mag match tho.. Wait natin reply ng iba.. Sorry d ako confident sa answer ko..hehe
