Parang may nabasa po kasi ako before, that CIC is checking applicants linkedin account in a private mode. Part daw po ng background check. Since I am a little paranoid so I am assuming that CIC checked my Linkedin, too. Hehehe... weird but who knows, that could probably be CIC.

I also assumed that MyCIC and eCAS will change or add status info kung bina-background check na nila ako. But then again, let us hope and pray that PPR will soon come.

This does not make sense. Be advised though that many Linkedin accounts were recently hacked. Email contacts were receiving an invite request of some sort kahit di naman talaga ginawa nung mismong account holder. Nagtataka yung naka-received kasi they're connected naman with each other.

Yon din ang pagkakaalam ko na dto pa lang sana na denied na ako pero eligible nman po daw ako to sponsor my family.. kasi inamin ko ang pagkakamali ko, with affidavit.. but im still hoping na sana maawa at maintindihan ng cic tungkol sa case nmin..

I've read your recent posts and you said hindi mo dineclare yung bata even prior to getting your PR visa dahil wala ang name mo sa BC. You and the mother of the child had a problem and you were not married at that time.

You are now married to the mother of "your child" and you are sponsoring them.

You have been approved as a sponsor and the Applicant's file is now in Manila.

In my personal opinion, you have a good case and most likely the Applicant will be approved. The Affidavit you executed is a good gesture of showing you are an honest person Naisip ko lang na even without the Affidavit, as you are sponsoring your wife and "her child", as long as the Proof of Relationship is proven real and genuine, the Applicant will be approved as well as her dependent. But yes, the Affidavit will definitely help if in any case the visa officer would still ask for consent of either guardian or other parent of the child even if the father info on the BC is unknown.

Unless I am missing something, the above, as mentioned is my personal opinion

You mentioned na dependent ka ng Mom mo when you got your PR visa. Were you under 19 or under 22 years old during that time?

Understandable to be apprehensive, but avoid going overboard to the point of being paranoid ;D We should only base things on facts and not rumors and speculations. Internet is full of lies, franks and unsubstantiated opinions. Be careful on what to believe! :'(
