I am 2 days ahead of them. And I'm starting to think that may VO is mabagal.

Hi everyone, just landed last Nov 22,2016.

my flight was a bit long, inikot ko earth.

From doha to hk - 8hrs via qatar airways
1 hr layover
From hk to vancouver- 11hrs via cathay pacific.

It was a bit long flight, but I was able to managed naman.
Haba pila for immigration officers kasi I got at vancouver airport, around lunch time.
I was given a declaration card, the only yes I answered there was the gifts na exceeded sa 60 CAD
So, the officer told me to go to immigration for signing for immigrants landing. So I got my luggage and queued again for the signing,of the immigrants, one guy assisted me and gave me the booklet for immigrants and asked for my email addresss. I gave him and later that day. i received an email detailing a welcome for new comers. At the immigration officer for signing part of my COPR,
They only asked me few questions like:

1. Is this your first marriage: YES
2. Is someone coming with you: NO

Then, she gave me the paper to sign in and off i went to exit.

Thank God for smooth and safe arrival :)

As a Canadian currently living in Korea who is applying to sponsor my Korean wife for PR in Canada,

Can / should I send my application to the Manila Visa office?

The application says to send it to Mississauga, Ontario.

You have to send your application to Mississauga, Ontario.

From there , after sponsor approval they will forward your apps to Manila.

Cheers!

Hi there, you can check this thread
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/my-parents-are-deceased-can-i-sponsor-my-sibling-t463001.0.html

Basically po, you can't sponsor sibling po, if parents still alive and your married and has family member living in Canada dn po.

The only way I guess try different program or just apply for TRV .

Cheers!

Kaya dapat i-declare po whether accompanying or not.

Pero na approved ako dto sa Canada as a sponsor, unknown father ng anak ko sa BC kasi nagka problema kmi ng wife ko pero di pa kami kasal non that time.. na forward na sa manila papers nila..
