Yung eligibility namin in progress pa din sa mycic, kahit sa notes nakalagay e 'Recommended Passed' na as of august 10,2016...
Security and criminality nOt started pa din as of Oct 27.. it's 2months passed after eligibility review has been updated

Hi, ako ang sponsor, di naman refused kasi outland ako nag submit ng application ng family ko na nasa pilipinas ginamit ko ang valid medical nila kasi nagpamedical sila ng nag apply ako ng permanent resident ko last year, until december pa valid kya may nakapagsabi sa akin na while di pa expired pwede pa gamitin.

Maybe they are doing background check?

Just my guess and partial research

Or Family Class Priority???

Been googling also ano yang fcpnp, wala ko makita..
FCP Po ata Yung Family Class priority..can't figure out of FCP there means the same and if so ano yung NP..

Wish this notes is more easier to decipher!

Sabi FCPNP was the last department na naghawak ng app mo. And kung may due date man, dun daw nila ulit titignan

Hi Everyone, May 24th applicant here (Outland - Spousal).

My wife's BG Check has been in progress since Oct. 19 and we haven't heard from CIC since then except for an email about pre-arrival services.
It's been almost a month now and people say it generally takes a few days or weeks only for the PPR to be sent after the BG check turns into "in progress".

Anyone else on the same boat? Also, how do we get "notes" about our application? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi 2600, I'm in a similar situation. I was only able to link my paper application to MyCIC account on October 23, and my BC has been in progress since. No email either aside from the pre-arrival services message.

You may request for the GCMS notes through http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp (costs $5) or here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp (free).

Are you the sponsor? If so, you can request free notes on behalf of your wife. She only has to sign a consent form.

Also FYI, you'll get the notes after about 1 month from request date so I'd send in a request ASAP!
