uu sana umulan na ng ppr.. naalala ko nag simulang umulan ng ppr nung ist week ng october tapos natigil hehhe anu kaya nag yari.

bigla nga nagbago yung trend :( :( :(

Am a newbie. My questions please:

1. We are for a PR sponsored by our son. My wife and I are now living with our son under Supervisa since 6 months ago. I read that there is 10000 open applicants for next year. When is the best time to submit our Sponsors application with ours?
2. Under FC, we are from my opinion and as I read from the Guidelines, we are qualified. Do we still need to get a police clearance (or under Philippines - NBI clerance) in spite of being here? We are given 5 years SV visa and we can stay until April 2018.
3. My son and his family are on nearing their 3rd year as PR in Canada. Can he file already his sponsorship of us? This is related to 1 above.
4. As PR applicants, do we have to present a medical insurance again? Our medical insurance as SV holders will end on April next year. If it is needed, can we file our application using the medical insurance we have while it has not expired yet?

Thanks.

We are in the same situation sis. 7 months preggy din ako and due date on January 9. God bless us sis! Sana makarating mga hubbys natin on time. God's timing is always perfect and on time! Lets just keep the faith. ☺️
Kaya nga nag email na ako sa visa office sabi nila within processing time pa naman kaya hndi daw nla ma expedite..pro praying and hopeful ako na mag PPR ngaung november sana.

hi everyone

can anyone help me about this.
i submitted my wife application last july 2016 (spouse sponsorship)
received the SA, AOG2 last august 2016
Medical is done september 2016 (upfront)

but then this morning they sent me a letter to provide MEDICAL, NBI Personal History evidences of marriage etc. i already submitted all of this last july this are all required in the 1st step right? the documents you need to submit before they approve if eligible for sponsoring

and then after 12 hours they sent me a letter again that they confirm receipt of your email to the Manila Visa Office.

I will try to answer some of your questions based on my experiences :)

1. Most likely the 2017 slots for parent sponsorship will open sometimes January 03, 2017 but please double check the website for the exact date. I would suggest submitting the application as soon as possible when they opened the slots as it's going to be filled very quickly if your sponsor can submit it the first day of opening the better. Like last year the cap was reached after 5 days i think.

2. Yes you will need to obtain a police clearance for each country that you have lived for more than 6 months.

3. As long as the sponsor is a PR or Citizen he/she can apply for sponsorship provided that he/she is qualified. I believe one of the requirements is to meet the income threshold for the last 3 years preceding the submission of application.

4. Medical insurance is not a requirement for PR application but Regardless if you are applying for PR, if you are staying in canada as a visitor you will have to have a medical insurance renewed each year. as you will not be covered with the health system of canada if you are a visitor status holder.

Hope i helped a bit good luck :)

yes , almost the time frame you mentioned. It was september 7 or 8 that we have DM on ECAS for sponsor side, it was a mass update from ECAS for all people who have had approval in their Sponsor Side. Then ECAS change to DM on my side as the applicant, around October 19, that time my passport is already in the abu dhabi VAC, in the visa sticker, it shows that the visa was issue on the 17th of October.
Salamat

Sounds interesting, If am not mistaken, when we received our SA, it means that the Sponsor have met the qualification, and that's why the PA will then receive the AOR2. The investigation would now be focused to PA as to check the PA's background. ECAS is not cooperating much and I am wondering if this will soon change the Sponsor status from In Process to DM. Then eventually PA will change to what status? As of this time PA is In Process. Sorry for asking much, up to this very moment, I don't know what's wrong and went wrong to all the information I am entering to link our application to MyCIC... so frustrating. But anyway, I am still in the process of gathering additional documents for AOR2, waiting for AOM, as I was told, this will take for 5-7 days process. Thank you so much in advance and again, congratulations and good luck to all of us here waiting for good updates! GOD BLESS US ALL! :D :D :D
