Thanks!

I asked my friend who's doing her husband's sponsorship too and she told me if we do not have any conjugal property or joint account or anything that we have shared under our names, we have to request an Affidavit from the lawyer witnessed by two people that will prove that our relationship is true.

We don't have anything that we share because we are just boyfriend and girlfriends back then and it never crossed our minds to have those ones.

Did you do this part? thank you!

Anna

Hello Anna,
We are same situation here but we didn't request an affidavit from our lawyer.. to give you a little hint about what we did after we got married my husband include me to his Bank account and insurance. Since we were renting a place that time he include me to his lease agreement too.
sa additional documents hingi kayo ng letters testimony about sa relationship nyo like sa mga relatives mo and sa husband mo or friends, some photos and communications, receipts that shown both your name..gifts receipt. hope it help you a little.. :D Good luck!

We're going to wait until the online account (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1222&top=3) is live on May 26th, to see how detailed it is; then decide whether or not to order notes again.

Question about this - does the sponsor need to create a new account through that link to have access, or does the file get linked automatically with the UCI?

My wife has an account on there already from when she applied for her visit visa, so I'm wondering how this works.

My understanding is that you'll manually link your Family Sponsorship file to the account; so whether you link it to your wifes account, or make a new one, it shouldn't matter.

Though, since it's not live yet, I can't be certain.

No affidavits and we don't have any conjugal property or joint accounts either. Our relationship isn't what you would call "traditional"- My husband and I met online, and we didn't meet in person until a year and a half later. He stayed for a month on his first visit but before he left, we decided that we were going to get married the next time we see each other (which was 4 months later - at this point we were crazy for each other and had the rest of our life planned out already lol) We got married in the city hall with only his sibling (on his side) and my parents and a couple of friends (on my side) in attendance. We didn't have testimonials from friends or relatives but we did have our personal essay which explained in our own words how we met/fell in love/what our plans are/etc. from our point of view. I guess we were pretty convincing haha :P

Some of the relationship evidence I included:
- scans of receipts of our gifts/packages we sent to each other (about 1 or 2 every other month)
- scans of handwritten letters (for Christmas, birthdays, etc)
- gaming logs from our 3 most played games online that has date/time stamps
- snippets of chat logs from a random day for every month since we started dating (we use a private chat app for couples so it was easy to sort out but it was still a lot of chat logs. To make it easier for the visa officer, I had an index page that has a summary for every date + page numbers)
- screenshots of video call history from Skype (only the recent 3 months since I had to get a new phone right before I started doing our application)
- receipts from restaurants that we went to along with pictures (lots of selfies but also a bunch with friends and family)
- pictures from trips we went to (out of state trips, family events, etc)
- scans of tickets for events that we went to (movies, conventions, etc)
- screenshot from facebook of our family/friends' posts and comments on our wall from friends/relatives congratulating us on our wedding
- pictures from our wedding and reception (nothing fancy, I just asked my family for pictures from their phone)

Our file arrived Feb2 to MVO, we ordered notes April, and they were generated April 8th. In those 2 months and 6 days, everything showed as 'Not Started' and there was nothing to see, unfortunately. We're going to wait until the online account (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1222&top=3) is live on May 26th, to see how detailed it is; then decide whether or not to order notes again.

I posted a guide several pages back on how to order GCMS notes: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-manila-visa-office-philippines-spousefamily-timeline-t325837.0.html;msg5174605#msg5174605

good luck on your application!

Hello guys, newbie here.

I know there's probably answer here but I created a topic for me to see the progress once we start the application.

We just got married and just waiting for the registration from NSO. Wife did the medical exam on May 08 at St. Luke Extension Clinic at Ermita. Wife is currently working in Dubai.
