Hi everyone, what is your opinion on applying through visa consultancy/agency?
hmmm if your case is straightforward, I think better to save money and do all the application yourself since all the info you need is in the CIC website but if your case is complicated, better go on the safe side and hire a lawyer.

hi shemah! yayyy congrats on the PPR! yes, you only need the stuff from "submit your passport" the other ones are if you are applying for TRVs and such. I would suggest go in person so if they have questions or something is missing in the requirements you'll know right away. Also you avoid the risk of your passport getting lost in the mail!

--- one more question xabibella, 1 picture lang ba yung pinalagyan mo ng stamp & nilagyan mo ng name? or it both? yes my husband's going to submit his reqs. in person na lang...

If your case is very straight forward, do it yourself and ask people here on the forum for assistance or advice and they will tell you exactly how to do the application. If your case is complicated, don't hire consultant instead hire immigration lawyer. It is a bit costly though if you hired one. So, good luck to you my dear!

My photographer didn't even have a stamp for the pictures (just a sticker and it was too big for that size) so I just wrote the name and my info down on both pictures :P

Sit and read tuwing hapon. It will take you several days to minsan several weeks ang pag fill up ng forms.
