Ang bilis ng processing ng kay Jasper, pero sobrang tagal nirelease ang passport. Something is wrong with the MVO though. Ganun katagal nila kinikeep ang passport?

He can immediately apply. The key though to have his sponsorship to be approved is to have a job, if not then he has to provide CIC with a concrete explanation on how he plans to support you and your dependants (if any) in terms of providing primary necessities (food, shelter, clothing)

The processing time though I cannot guarantee. Published time table is 12-13mos. When I applied to sponsor my wife, published time table is 17mos. It ultimately took us 8mos from receipt of application in CIC-Mississauga to VOH. Sponsorship processing is around 40days. Check out my timeline as well.

Hi,
Have you tried to follow up the MVO before through email while waiting and before you got your visa?

No. It's useless.

As long as you're within the 17month processing period they will just respond by saying its in process and they cannot do anything since it's within the published processing time table.

I tried going through our MP once but it's almost the same answer as what I got from my GCMS notes, only GCMS notes is more informative which I feel is the best way to see your status.

Hello tanong ko lang, kung yung request ng vaccine ba ay before or after niyo mag medical?

Tinanung po kasi ung vaccines history ng hubby ko during the medical ng pa tetanus shot po siya recently kaya ang advice po sa kanya is bumalik for vaccination after 3 months kung di pa siya nakakaalis.

my required year po ba na pagStay nya sa Canada para maiprocess nya ung papers ko? or pgkabalik nya sa canada, pwede na nyang iprocess agad?? tanx

May iba ka pa kasama sa sponsorship like kids? Pano yung mga police clearance, nbi and medical mo nagexpire na? I heard yung visa validity is based sa medical expiration, I dunno how true it is.

I'm sponsoring my wife. On her E-cas it says Medical received last April pa. We are hoping this May for PPR. I was thinking baka busy din sila for election.

Did you try getting your MP involved? They can inquire about your application and the VOs give priority to them or something. Your Canadian spouse has to ask his MP to do it.

Yes, nagemail yung spouse ko sa MP pero wala naman nareceive na reply :(

Yes, tama. Ang validity ng Visa ay pareho sa validity ng Medical

I'm the sponsor and that's what it shows on my ECAS I should say, my husband has not received anything yet. (No mail/email)

Like your wife, line 2 is also missing on my ECAS. I haven't yet done anything. How did you have access to your ECAS? Were you sent a mail/email with your own UCI number?

Use the file number, then last name of your spouse, date of birth, etc.
I will try to email them. I still havent receive any mail or email.

we're planning to get married soon..my required year ba na pgStay nya sa Canada pra maiprocess nya ung papers or pwede na nyang iprocess agad ung papers? tanx

I want to sponsor my spouse to come to Canada. As we are in the process of completing all the necessary documents, we noticed that there are multiple errors in our marriage certificate. Me and my parents are Canadian citizens but in our marriage certificate, we are Filipinos. My address is wrong, my name is incomplete, and the place of our wedding is wrong. I seriously need to know what I can do about this, PLEASE! Thanks so much!

Thanks! I did sign up using my husband's last name and this came out on his ECAS:

We received your application for permanent residence on February 15, 2016.
We started processing your application on March 29, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

He doesn't have the 2nd line like you do. That means we still have to wait then. :(
Yes, you should definitely email them, it's more than a month since they sent the correspondence letter. Kindly keep us posted for any updates. Thanks! :)
