Hi Crzy_cad,
Do you know the status of ratek8? Hnd kasi sya sumasagot. Nong nka process sya nsa philippines kaya sya? Okay lng naman mg follow up sa MVO through email no?

Hey Kalie, sorry, but I don't speak Tagalog and google translate isn't making much sense of what you're saying. I can answer the first part, as per ratedk8's profile she's landed in Canada already, Winnipeg, MB to be exact.

thats good news.. I had the same experienced with your wife but my daughter's biological father didnt sign.. so i filed a sole custody and apparently cic accepted all of my court docs...mind you took us almost 1 yr to get our papers done and very costly...

Hi bushgirl,

Its a horrible news, the biological father did not sign the form. He is insisting WHY HE NEEDS TO SIGN THE FORM, THE CHILD'S LAST NAME IS ALREADY CHANGED TO HER MOTHER'S NAME SO WHY HE NEEDS TO SIGN IT, FOR WHAT???? I don't know what to do to help my wife, 30 days is running..

Oh, I'm sorry about that. What country you're living at right now? I'm asking if ratek8 was in the Philippines the last time they process their application? And lastly is it okay to email the embassy of Manila to follow up well through email I mean. No ppr yet for the October month right? I'm October 1. Haha Thank you for responding to me crzy_cad.

Hoping your response again.

Haha no worries. I'm a Canadian citizen currently living in the Philippines with my wife and daughter.

You can try e-mailing the embassy, but it's unlikely they'll respond as you're still within the posted 13 month processing time. As far as I'm aware there hasn't even been a PPR for a september applicant unfortunately.

Actually, they do respond and they're just telling me that they are still reviewing it. Haaay. Thank you for your time.
