1) Yes, Canadian is fine for the sponsorship process.

2) No, you are not required.

3) No salary requirements for spousal sponsorship. Your Sponsor however cannot be receiving social assistance.

4) You can, but be prepared to pay more for it then in the Philippines. It is advisable to get medical done upfront to avoid delays down the road.

i am not sure about this question as my experience i did not register my marriage in Canada herein the Philippines. I don't think its necessary.
But make sure to attached CENOMAR on your application.

June rin ako sis.. parating na yan, parang influx sila mgprocess eh.. as in kuha sila ng bulk n pinprocess tpos silent for a few months then bulk ulit.... mach 9 nbgay visa until may 4 .. un rin ung expiry ng medical nya....kelan ngmedical ung partner mo or ikaw b ang applicant?

Hi Tubateena, ako po ung nagmedical, May 16 2015 ung sa akin po. So sna nga po, maibigay bago magexpire medical ko, at least I have more time pa to spend time with my family. SG based po kase ako so sana mabgyan aq notice soon pra makapagresign po soon here sa SG at maakuwi Pinas. But anything will do, tagal antin hinintay pare pareho ito so grab qng anu ung ikakaloob. I hope passport request ka na rin soon.. para mkland ka before mgexpire medical mo... usually they try nmn tlga n paalisin before expiry ng medical.. malapit n yan sis.. tiwala lng....

OMG! just called VFS and out na daw Visa ko...iendorse na daw sa 2Go to be delivered this weekend tamang tama then by Monday punta ako CFO for the sticker its really happening!!!
