Ung sponsor po ba makakatanggap??wala pa po eh were hoping till next week me good news na po kasi mag-two mos na xa next week...hay :(...what do you mean po na pag check processing time eh current na ung date ng app??

Hi everyone.

Hi yes ung sponsor makakatanggap ng AOR from CIC kasi application as a sponsor muna ung i assess ng CIC yan ung first stage. NA check mo ba sa CIC website kng anong date na ung pinoprocess nila? eto ung link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp. Pag lampas na sa date na yan pag pasa nyo just call CIC or did your sponsor track your package application if CIC received it? Good luck! :)

im guessing all you have to do is to send the receipt at the same exact address where you send ur passport with your file number on it, so it would get to the visa officer who's processing your papers.

Welcome to the thread! Of cpurse you can post queries gere and not just timelines :) for your questions

1. Yes it will suffice since income is not a primary factor in your eligibility. Just be sure your not on welfare. Based on what i have read here so far, you need to provide an explanation on why you dont have the latest tax printout (that because you were not in Canada etc) and you can include everything you said you have. If youre in doubt ypu can call CIC for assistance

2. Double check or even triple check all the documents! Make sure all fields are answered and tge documents signed and dated. On the day youll send it, check again.

3. Some acronyms
AOR 1: acknowledgemt of receipt (CPC M will email this to you telling they received you application usually abput a month after
SA sponsorship approval
PPR passport request
Upfront: upfront medical
VOH visa on hand
CEM canadian embassy manila
MVO manila visa office
DM decision made. You may see it on the sponsorship evaluation (DM1) and for the PR application (DM2)

I cannot answer for other questions. Dont have visa yet
goodluck po on your application! :)

Thanks toffboss!

Just some follow ups:

2. Do i have to write "n/a" on all blank fields? I filled up all documents on my computer and couldnt modify fields that didnt apply.

3. Accronyms
PPR passport request - Canadian Embassy in Manila will request for my wife's passport?
Upfront: upfront medical - My wife has undergone this, she won't have to do it again right?

Thanks again!

Hi guys!

Is there a required income sa magssponsor?
May kilala kasi un friend ko na Hindi na-approve magsponsor ng asawa dahil sa annual income. may katotohanan po ba Ito?

Alam ko natanong ko na before, just wanted to make sure. Worried Lang ako.

Thanks!

I called CIC about my case regarding this. I'm married but we do not have children, according to the agent, We need not qualify for the Low Income Cutoff. I think it is a case to case basis.

You can probably refer to Guide IMM 5482 on CIC.

Note that there is a qualifier that says "You will need to qualify if you're sponsoring a person OTHER THAN"...... I think it was also mentioned to me that it also depends on your status in Canada (PR, caregiver, FSW) if you will need to go over the Low Income Cutoff.

I hope this helps.

2. Not all. sometimes the question prompts you to put "NONE". Read carefully the instructions per question.
3. Yes Manila will request it from your wife after Sponsorship approval and after they send it to manila for further processing. Usually manila asks for the passport at the start of the process unlike other visa offices who ask it at the very end.
Your wife doesnt need to do another medical unless CIC says so.

Your welcome!
