congrats again on your PPR. VOH ka na soon.
okie dokie. just double checking. looks like they still send emails late afternoon (Canada time), since you said you receive it 5am Philippines time. I only check my email from morning till noon.toffboss said:yes the sponsor gets the SA email.well i have my wife's email so i can check frequently. Btw, when they email for PPR. Welcome to the thread! Of cpurse you can post queries gere and not just timelines for your questionsCC79 said:A few queries:
1. I have no Option C printout as this is only my 4th month here in the country, and 3rd month working. I do have proof of income through my company's pay slips, I'll also be submitting proof of income from my previous employer in Manila. Also attaching a letter from my father (since he is my sponsor) in support of my application for my wife guaranteeing that we wont seek social assistance from the province of Ontario should my wife be approved this includes allowing us to live in their house rent free and initially providing daily necessities until we have found steady jobs. Will these suffice to get my sponsorship approved?
2. For the applicants/sponsors: Before sending in the application, any final tips before sending the application to CPC-Mississauga?
3. I found these on the older thread regarding timetables. Can someone help me with these accronyms?
sa = Sponsorship approved?
ppr = ?
upfront = ?
medical result received = may 22,2015
dm = ? Decision made? Does that mean that the Embasssy has made a decision on the approval? and do they inform you immediately?
voh = ? Visa on hand?
For those who already got their visa's approved:
4. Based on experience and current timetables, looking like a 10month period of application from submission to approval right?
5. How many months was your spouse given to fly in to Canada from Visa issuance? 2-3 months?
6. Upon your spouse's arrival in Canada did you have to join your spouse in the Immigration room to sign documents? or did you just wait for your spouse at the arrival area?
Hope you guys can help me out with my queries.
Thank you and I hope everyone's families get reunited the soonest.

Salamat sa pagsagot..Sana dumating narin yung sa akin na visaPeriwinkleNymph said:Hi, usually the visa expiry is dependent on your medical. But it doesn't really follow. In my case, my medical was done last November, whereas my visa validity date is until mid december.
