This is weird. I'm actually unsure how you can work around that. I don't think VFS will take that long. So far the average I've seen is 2 and a half weeks from submission of passport to VOH. Based on my prior conversations with some consultants and embassy employees you have to receive your visa from your originating country and fly in after as there is also an immigration process you need to undergo upon arrival. It was originally me and my wife's plan to fly in together and wait for the application to be completed while she's here in Canada with e but found it impractical as since there is no accurate timetable she will have to fly in and out and not have a job.
Thanks again for your reply. I got your point there, I think I should really fly back to Philippines once I received an email request for my passport, I think the VOH will give me enough time to submit my passport if I will inform them of my whereabouts.
Do you know where I can find the list/s of stuff that VOH requires you to undergo before leaving Philippines once you have your PR? I read some posts that some went to a seminar or something.
