Hello po.. Ask ko lang po.. Ang status po ngayon ng application namin ay medical has been received.. Meaning po b nun ay we passed the med exam? What comes next po..thank you and god bless us all..

Thank you! Pero if they already sent the application sa Manila Visa Office, is that usually the signal na they started background check na? Medyo naguluhan kasi husband ko, we thought na nagstart na BC since January 3 pinasa sa MVO application ko but when he called sa call centre ng IRCC sa Canada, there's an automated message after he entered our application details and said na they haven't started the BC yet.

Nope, transfer to MVO means sila na ung magprocess ng eligibility ni PA, si sponsor approved na. So medyo maghihintay pa kayo next steps would be pre-arrival services invitation, tapos background check, and then passport request, unless nagrequire sila ng interview, and/or kung may mga nirequire pa silang ibang documents.

Medical Completed: December 28, 2017
Transferred to MVO: January 3, 2018
Medical Passed: January 3, 2018
Invitation to Pre-Arrival Services: February 7, 2018
Invitation to In-TAC Virtual Career Expo: March 20, 2018

I already received Pre-Arrival email last Feb 7 pa. Then the Virtual Career fair last March 23. That was the last email I received.

Yeah, ganyan din yung samin. Nakareceive kami ng pre-arrival letter Feb 2, no updates until March 23 when background check started. After that wala na kaming update. Waiting nanaman kami. Depende talaga sa VO na magpprocess ng application natin I think. Merong iba na mabilis nakakakuha ng PPR, kasabay ng pre-arrival. Merong iba na maghihintay pa talaga. I think meron pang mga May 2017 applicants pa na hanggang ngayon naghihintay pa rin. All we have to do is wait.

Wala rin ako narecieve. Nagchange lang yung status sa CIC account.. Small things na status update wala silang sinisend. Pero if may action from you na kailangan, dun sila may sinisend na email..

What are your experiences with the processing times for the Philippines? I will be applying here online for my mother in law. also does anyone in Philippines have any experience with the medical before applying?

Does it really take 114 days like the Canada website says?
