Have you provided your permenant address or dubai address or your authorised persons address to send the passports back. I know you got a call from delhi VO to collect PP but I guess you might have provided some address, right?

Yes, one's close relations, with authorization from PA, may be allowed by VO to collect passports on one's behalf. I sent passports to India through an acquaintance who couriered them to VO from Delhi.

Stage-1: [CIO stage] Send Initial Apps+Processing Fees to CIO-NS > Qualitative Check > Issue of AOR+120 days Letter >

Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office > File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Eligibility Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check > Issue of Additional docs Request [if any] > 1st BF'D > e-Cas: "In Process" > Send Addnl. Docs > Issue of Med Request > 2nd BF'D >

Stage-3: Meds Sent > e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Issue of PPR* > Send Passport/s > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made" >
*The Meds & PPR are sometimes 'clubbed' together.

Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed".

As per my friends' cases, they got visa after PPR in near about 40 to 45 days. it is now 50 days for me after Passport sent.
I hope next week we will get good news

I had provided VO my permanent address in India. Providing them Indian address for return of the passports is mandatory as it is illegal to send Indian passports out of(or in to) India by courier/mail.

Good news from my side.

CHC New Delhi called me today morning and asked me to come to ND to collect the passport. Since I am already working in Canada and I have to leave next week they asked me to come and collect it directly.

How does CHC work in issuing Visa's. do they have some schedule or week, that they issue visas.
Or are they on strike ;D.
