Yes, its true that it is all digital now. I visited atleast 10 studios to find one. Seach and you should get one and submit it to Doctor.

Photograhy has become digital now, from where to get negative

also the negative is to be given to Medical or to VO

Thanks. I recd 2nd AOR on Jan 06,2011. But there is no change in eCAS status. Its still CIO review complete.

i went for medicals with Negatives but medical center didn't ask for it.

earlier they needed negatives so that can superimpose that negatives with chest X-ray, however now they just put normal photograph while clicking the x-ray and it works fine, so negatives are not required.

But still it depends on your medical center,
so confirm the medical center by calling them before going that would be the best, otherwise if not sure than better take negatives along while going for medicals as written in the medical request paper but chances are negatives will not be required.

Status changed to Inprocess on 4th Jan 2011
I have done with my medicals on 13 th June 2011 but they said they will submit the docs to CHC only on 17th Jan as it is a long weekend.

In the meanwhile, I have submitted my passport today with RPRF fee.

It sounds like people on behalf of the applicant are able to collect passport back from visa office. right?

HOw did you submit your passport at Delhi visa office?

Did you provide them with any authorisation letter?

Yes, one's close relations, with authorization from PA, may be allowed by VO to collect passports on one's behalf. I sent passports to India through an acquaintance who couriered them to VO from Delhi.
