Hi All,

I am pleased to inform that with the God's grace and your blessings, I have received passports with mapple leaf visa for myself and my family from CHC, New Delhi yesterday. My complete details are given below. I am thankful to each one of you who has/is contributing to this wonderful forum. A forum that brings hope and nuture aspirations for thousands of aspiring candidates like me. I want to give special thanks to Quorax, psshe and setcanada for their help. I wish all the best to each one of you.....you surely would get your passport studded with mapple leaf soon!

My Details:
AOR 7th Dec 2009
In process date - 7th Apr 2010
Medical request & passport request - 20th May 2010----I requested for the postponment as we were expecting our first baby
2nd Medical request & passport request - 23rd Nov 2010
Medical done -12th Dec 2010
Passport sent -13th Dec 2010
recd passports with visa -15th Jan 2011

Can you explain us your experience in collecting the passport in person from CHC ND. This will be helpful for us. (like when you went, whom do you meet, was there an interview, waiting time, formalities, etc etc..)

Collected stamped passports, travel documents and original documents(submitted earlier), from CHC, ND a short while back. Have to land in Canada before 10th Oct.(expiry of medicals).

I requested VO on 7th Jan. through an email, to allow my daughter, who is in Delhi, to collect my passport in person as i was in urgent need of it. On 14th morning CHC called her up to ask her to collect stamped passports on Monday at 4:30pm. She reached CHC at 4:10pm yesterday and was asked to sit in the waiting hall. At exact 4:30, a lady walked up to her, confirmed her identity and relationship to me and handed her an open envelope. She explained to my daughter that all new/old passports, COPR letters and original documents submitted to CHC earlier were inside the envelope. That lady also said that principal applicant has to land in Canada first and then others can follow as per their convenience before 10th Oct i.e. within the validity period of the medicals.

Guys no good news....still the ecas is in process....now i am totally sick n tired and don't want the VISA anymore......waited and waited like anything....seeing people getting it within month month and a half of sending the passports....now i have stopped expecting and will go ahead with other plans as because of this stupidity i have put a lot of things on hold. thinking of writing to chc to return the passports as well...will not be active on the forum as well....thanks friends for all the support...good luck n God bless all

You have travelled lot in this visa process and now when you are just about to reach, why you are loosing your patience. I know its diffiicult, but its our human tendency to loose hope when we are about to get the results of all our efforts. You should just concentrate on other work just like you have never applied, things will automatically comes to you, you will see. All the best.

Thanks shreya .....but anykind of logic is not working in mycase.....believe me i have lost the charm of it .....right now...i not worried about visa its just it is bothring me that they have my passport for last 3 months and they are not saying anything....i say common say NO...i don't care but return my passports
