Hello everyone! Those who have submitted the passport do we need to mention something at the back of the passport size photographs to be submitted?

I believe all the instructions will be there in the PPR request mail with attachments.

Yes on one of the pictures you need to mention the DATE OF BIRTH of whose picture it is with name as well and the date the picture is taken with the photo studios details.

All of this would be mentioned in the VFS portal for Canada.

Also i heard the studio puts their stamp at the back of the pic and additionally i have to write my name n dob. Is that right?

Yes ... that's what I mentioned in my earlier post too. The studio needs to put the date on which the picture was taken too. Its important

PCC stands for Police clearance certificate which one gets from the PASSPORT office

You need to give 2 pictures for PR with your passport
1 picture will have the applicants name and DOB (which will be handwritten) along with the studios stamp which would have their address and details (this could be hand written too incase the studio doesn't have their stamp). In their (studio person) handwriting the date on which the picture was taken needs to be mentioned.

I'm curious...what ever do they do with the passport sized photos that we submitted with the initial application? I thought that it would be for this purpose? Are you saying that we need to take new passport pics, even though we already submitted them with the application?

But we still haven’t gotten DM or Pre arrival, or even the ppr. So what’s that supposed to mean?

Yes we need to take new pics but they aren't passport sized. They're much bigger. Specifications would be mentioned.

I've wondered as well what happens to the pics submitted. But who cares as long as we get our PR.

Yes everyone needs new pics.. no exception..
