Yes on one of the pictures you need to mention the DATE OF BIRTH of whose picture it is with name as well and the date the picture is taken with the photo studios details.

You need to give 2 pictures for PR with your passport
1 picture will have the applicants name and DOB (which will be handwritten) along with the studios stamp which would have their address and details (this could be hand written too incase the studio doesn't have their stamp). In their (studio person) handwriting the date on which the picture was taken needs to be mentioned.
PCC stands for Police clearance certificate which one gets from the PASSPORT office
I'm curious...what ever do they do with the passport sized photos that we submitted with the initial application? I thought that it would be for this purpose? Are you saying that we need to take new passport pics, even though we already submitted them with the application?

Yes we need to take new pics but they aren't passport sized. They're much bigger. Specifications would be mentioned.
I've wondered as well what happens to the pics submitted. But who cares as long as we get our PR.
