Do you recall the thread or location where you read this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2017-04-28.asp ? Want to know because was it before this came into effect or after this came into affect ?
Where you land in canada though application said different residence, i like to know more details on this too and probably others too, what if the person sponsoring moved to different province before their spouse could land ?

Can't recall where I read, it was 2-3 years back. (FSW Indian family migrating were denied PR at the port of entry). Conditional Permanent Residence and Intention to reside in Canada are two different issues not related to each other. If sponsor moves to a different province IRCC needs to be informed of the change, moreover applicant at the time of landing should carry proof to support claim for change in port of entry, such as copy of sponsor document showing new address. Not advised to do landing in another province without a connecting flight.

I am not sure if not having a connecting flight would be a valid reason, one can decide to do some sight seeing prior to reaching their destination. I will probably have to call some numbers and figure out if there is any clause like that for spousal sponsorship and where spouse can land or stay after coming over.

Could you please share how long it took them to reply to your email? I also emailed them on Tuesday and i got confirmation email that they received it but I didn't get any reply yet, just wondering how long it takes them to reply

Hi friends
My husband is march 3 rd applicant. I usually check my husband's on cic's call centre number which has an automated message. When i called that number today it said they need more documents to continue processing his file. But they have not emailed or anything. I don't know guys what to do, i applied through a representative for him. His aor2 was on june 23rd. His background check has not started yet. Please guys suggest something.

hy mine changed today and mine documents are also sent. Nothing is left is send. I m march 3 applicant. Do you why this happened

thats the reason why ur doc status has been changed to "We required more docs..." Same thing happened with many of us
ur status might have changed the same day when cic generated ur GCMS notes.

Hy i applied notes for my husband and his status changed to that as well.

ur status might have changed the same day when cic generated ur GCMS notes.

I don't think ordering gcms would effect if they need more documents or not... maybe they would have asked you anyways... I ordered gcms notes and the status changed to we do not require any more docs from reviewing the docs provided... rest not sure
