Hello guys , I just got remedical on 11nov ,just wondering interview is waived or not . I hire representative that's y couldn't see my timeline . Just wonder if u have any idea . I am 9feb 2016 applicant . Desperately waiting for ppr
The fact that you received medical email. It means the officer is working on your file. Most likely your file is in background check like the rest of Jan and Feb Applicants. I don't think you will get called for interview because they would have done that before asking more another medical. Once your medical is done, wait a week for it to be read and ask your spouse to do an MP inquiry to see the status of the file.

Husband received letter for interview on Dec 15, next month :o. After the interview how long does it take to receive DM? When will they request for passport submission after the interview?
Usually if the interview is successful, they will go to background check and finally decision made. Since the holidays are coming up. You may hear from them in early Jan. I would recommend your husband take an updated PCC if possible to the interview to speed up background check. Are you accompanying him to the interview?

No i will not be as I am in Canada. My question is will they accept the updated PCC because they have not mention that in the email.

Wat to do.. march 3rd applicant
The second lady might have lied to you because they do have access to the files, but they cannot disclose information to you, they can only disclose to an MP office. Do an MP inquiry and confirm.

Make sure your husband is well prepared with all the proofs like photos, chat logs. If the officer asks why you didn't come, your husband can say the ticket prices are ridiculous because they are its like $3000 if you book a ticket now for December.

Thx for the helpful tips. However all the things u have mentioned above are attached with the application. Does he have to show them again? Or can he say that: they are all attached with the file, if you want to see them. ? Why do I have to be present for the interview as I am already approved as a sponsor for my husband?

You have to ask yourself if everything is attached to the file then why the interview in the first place. There is a bit of story that the officer is doubting or has question about. The stuff that I stated that you should gather is not before marriage that is already in your file. You should focus on gather evidence from the time after you have filed. They will ask your husband about how you have been in contact with you since you filed. Has your spouse come to see you since you filed. Has you spouse sent you money/gifts since filing. What does your spouse do? Where does she work. Whats her favourite pastime? What are her friends names. Details that your spouse should know by now.

Being present for the interview helps your husbands case, that you travelled all that way to make sure ur application is approved.
