Mine still says "Review of Eligibility - Review in progress"

I submitted my application on May 4th. i think May applicants should also get ppr at least by the end of January.

I called up cic to know details as I received rprf .. he told me everything cleared background eligibility Done..waiting fr rprf...but today I called again the women said that she has no access to files in visa office so cannot tell details of file.. whom should I trust.. in doubt?? Wat to do.. march 3rd applicant

did an mp inquiry today and the receptionist got back to me saying that, eligibility has been passed but medical is in progress

what does this mean? i dont even think she called nvdo i think she called local Mississauga office cuz when i went into their office that time it was 1030pm in india, so how is that possible

if someone can help me out

Hi,

When did you apply? I made an enquiry too, and they said that the eligibility is passed and that the maximum timeline for this PR application to complete is until the Medical is active.

And you are right they call the CIC in Canada not NDVO.
Ask your MP's Assistant to email the NDVO requesting an update.

They don't call the local office in each country. They call the immigration office in Canada and get the information.In most cases, MP assistants will be read the same timelines which are on their website by the immigration folks and the MP assistants will read them back to you

Quite confusing obviously, you might wanna talk to your MP office and explain them the situation and see how much info they can get for you. At the same time, next time when u call them, request them to send the same information in an email so that u can have a documented proof. You can only make a request for the email, not sure if they will oblige or not. For me they have so far but in some cases, i didnt get the emails.

I applied first week of may, I will ask her to do that tomorrow since the office is closed now

Yes this was my first attempt. Looks like my PR application is close so they might have given the TRV because we did not send the airplane ticket and we did not show a lot of fund in India, but we had showed good funds as sponsor.

Husband received letter for interview on Dec 15, next month . After the interview how long does it take to receive DM? When will they request for passport submission after the interview?
