that's a really good question. I am not in that situation so I am not confident to answer you, but I will say go with the others who had the similar situation.

my marriage was also register a day after, but the certificate does show the actual tradition wedding date and not the register date.

if I was the officer at CIC, I would go with the certification date, because that's the actual day when you and your partner become husband and wife. but everyone thinks differently and not sure what CIC will think.

have you tried calling the CIC helpdesk and ask them the same question and see what they say?
Yes mention the traditional date, on the registered certificate along with the registration date, there will be actual traditional marriage date too.
I have mentioned same for my wife

In Sponsor Questionnaire form
8. Have you resided in countries other than Canada?

Should I give only home country info here? Or should I must give all countries that i had visited or even worked (earlier before Canada, I was on work permit for 2 years, even visited few other on tourist visa)

If, I have to state India alone as previous residence; do I need to provide each of the addresses. I had stayed in different addresses in same city. Or should I give last address of residence alone.

Please suggest. This is confusing.

Hi, i joined this forum today only. However i have been checking out this forum regularly
Has anyone received ppr today? I do not see any new updation in this forum today?

Please put up updations here rather than whatsapp as it is easy for many of us.

My timeline is as below:
Application received by CIC: 30/05/16 and Medical also received
Sponser approved and processing started on: 08/08/16

Now my status is "In Process" from past 4 months approx.

Any idea when could i get ppr?

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to share a small good news with you guys.
My wifes TRV got approved in the second attempt.

Applied on 20 October
Approved on 1st November
First attempt was rejected based on Ties in Country of residence, Personal Assets and Travel History.

I addressed this with the below
Bought a new car in her name in India
Took a car loan in her name
Showed gold evaluation certificates
Travel history – wrote an affidavit that she will return back.
I hope this helps some of us who had TRV rejections.

Thankso

HI Sonie055,
How did you apply for your wife'said TrV. Did you apply online or paper. I had applied in October paper based for my wife. It got rejected based on the same reasons.

Anyone know how NDVO pulling files?

Hi all

I got acknowledgment receipt and UCI number by NDVO last week , and now when I am logging in and checking my status it's showing "IN PROCESS"
Basically there are two pointers , first is we received your file on this this date and second point is DELHI office started working on 25th October.

How many more months I should expect now?

Hi,

This depends on the case, but ideally one saying that the Decision has been made and an agent will contact you about that decision.

Yeah.. I guess, NDVO is trying to clear all backlogs from 2015 applicants rather than moving with the new applicants. That sounds fair, but just not sure how some jan-apr applicants got PPRs. I guess now they stopped for 2016 since 3 weeks and now working on 2015 files. Lets hope for the best. :)
