Anyone got any info about submitting passport in Canada after getting PPR ?
I'm a April 2016 applicant and my wife is coming here on TRV next week. If we get PPR, I would like to know if we can submit it here rather than going back to India.

To people who got PPR, does it say anything about this in the letter, regarding submitting in Canada ?

Hey Buddy, we went through the same headache while trying to link our application to the mycic account. After more than hundreds of attempts, we stumbled upon a post in one of the threads which advised to leave the city of birth blank, which is what we tried and it worked for us.

The tricky thing is it won't let you leave the city of birth blank...so make sure you enter a space character in the field and then try to proceed...also don't enter the passport details.

My case details are as follows:
Application submitted: April 5, 2016
Acknowledging receipt: April 28, 2016.
Started processing for sponsorship : April 27, 2016.
Sponsorship approval: June 3, 2016
Acknowledgement of Receipt at Delhi : June 8, 2016
In Process status from: June 7, 2016

I received an email from the Immigration Delhi to submit proof of landing fee payment and medical examination on June 8, 2016.
submitted back (via email) : June 9, 2016.

Now waiting for the decision made status.

Thank you so much everyone for contributing your knowledge and timelines! My wife told me in may/june that according to this forum activity we will be getting DM by Aug or Sept and I did not believe her because I was expecting at least 10 months from time of submission. This forum kept her hopes high. Again thank you everyone! I wish you all good luck and I hope you all get DM's asap.. Don't lose any hopes

Just incase if anyone have question. I submitted application with all upfront fees, medical and PCC. 150 pictures(marriage,honeymoon), whatsapp chat logs (4 pages printed both side for each month since Feb2015 till apr 2016), phone and video chat logs, all supporting documents like narrative letters, boarding pass, tickets, bills - that's prty much.
Application Received: 5-Apr-2016, AOR: 27-Apr-2016, SA: 3-Jun-2016, AOR2: 14-Jun-2016,
DM and PPR Request: 02-Sep-2016 (Have to send passport before 2nd Oct)

Yes there is an option to send the passport to Ottawa if the applicant is in Canada at the time of receiving PPR. It is mentioned in the PPR letter too.
My wife is here with me on visitor visa, so we will be sending the passport to Ottawa.
